It was AWESOME!

I've already got a big smile on my face today anyway, but this made it even bigger! Great show and tied up lots of loose ends too.

Won't talk about what happened here in case anyone missed it.

Today is officially a GREAT day

I've just posted on the thread about last week's episode, but here goes again:

Daleks in German was genius (as was - once again - Dalek Caan)

Doctor and Rose at bad wolf bay was truly cringeworthy. That five minutes totally ruined the whole thing for me.

But who cares what I think - can't wait for Xmas and the return of the Cybermen

Yeah it was good, quite a sad ending though and it was a shame we had to loose Donna, she would have made a great Time Lord ;)

well you are entitled too your opinon, but if if you don't like it, are not interested on it then why post you pointless comments...sorry trish but you had nothing constructive to say with either of your posts.......
as for what i thought, well the kiss was so not needed, fine with the whisper but I didn't need or want that kiss....finally we get rid of russel t davies and his billie piper fantasy!
other than that it was good, not a classic by any means but still a cracking story, davros was as mad as ever, and i loved the doctor donna...felt they chickned out on the everlasting death of a compainon, but it kinda fits as donna was a child of time and no longer is...mmm
loved the bad doctor, wished he had stayed lol but heck we can't have anything...
but as soon as i knew gwen was safe that's all i cared about, the looks and that welsh accent just drives me into heaven!!!
so now just the xmas special remains this year.....roll on cybermas

I was doubting it a bit at first but it turned out to be a pretty good finale in the end and gotta say the actor who played Davros was really good, he makes pin head look like a kitten but what the hell was up with that lion king music??

I have to admit, hearing the Dalek speaking in German was pretty darn cool!
Hat's off to the writers that thought of that small little detail.

That made me chuckle a bit.....if only you knew what i do for a living you'd know that i could never abuse anyone or anything. I was merely giving an opinion on the fact you felt emotion between two people "ruined" the episode.
Not really my problem if you have no emotions.

I don't know many who didn't at least feel a lump in their throat with emotion at some stage. Been watching the series for as long as i can remember (black and white no less).

I felt they really did a good job this time around, and...... after reading the official site and watching Dr Who confidential on beeb3 straight after, it seems no-one actually "knew" how to end it. Which is why it was such a long finale.
How brilliant to have past Dr's assistants and it was lovely to see Bernard Cribbins. (Peter Cushings assistant ) in the very first "Dr Who and the Daleks" film back in 1965.
Sadly Roy Castle passed away, if he hadn't then i'm sure there'd have been a place for him in this last episode too.
Well done i say. Thoroughly enjoyed every minute!

And forever imagine her caricatures... ? Was imagining some sort of cross over when Dr Who met Katherine Tate met Little Britain.... You know....?

But did you understand all they said...? To me, there will always be a little bit missing ~ in trasnslation ~ from tonight's episode.... ok....

So does any one else think that instead of meeting his future wife in the library the Dr actually met his daughter??? She did say he was older when she knew him…

I must admit I shed a tear at tonight's episode but then I'm an over-emotional muppet at the best of times.

And..ohh the irony of those who  at dr who yet freely admit to watching big brother! Let's see, plebian dumbed-down mass tv for the moronic masses versus actual inspired written dialogue...Ummmm let me think! ;-)

I can't believe I got sucked into this. The build up of the first episode and the cliff hanger at the end did spark my interest.

But, then the threat that was about to destroy the whole universe was defeated by some soppy bint talking bollox as she threw a few levers and then as if by magic all of the Daleks just blew up.

Maybe my expectations were too high. But, I did expect that there might be at least some inkling of a rational plot rather than just half an hour of simpering slush to close the series.

I can only assume that it must have slipped my mind briefly that this is actually a programme aimed at children and cretins.

Lovely programme because: one of the only things that me & my daughters really set aside time to watch together. Like the old days of Sat night around the TV with family unit. Not sure who's more excited by it - them or me. Guess I'm a cretin then , Restless.
Not looking forward to the long break. But I guess DT has another life!

I was, I am afraid, to say greatly disappointed at tonights episode. The first two leading up to this were exceptional and tonights just felt rushed. Yes, there were some great moments, Donna becoming 'Doctor Donna' being one and the humour that we had from her being such.

The whole Rose bit irritated me though and spoiled it for me, have never liked her in the series particularly.

[/fine with the whisper but I didn't need or want that kiss]

I so wanted that kiss, but not for Rose to have it!
