Posted: 7/5/2008 10:41:10 PM | OMG...I REALLY hate when guys write a really short profile and then put "message me if you want to know more"!!! aaarrrggghhhh. If you don't give us enough information about you to peak our interest WHY would we want to know more? We will just write you off as another guy who couldn't be bothered to put any effort into their profile.
You SAY you have a sense of humor....prove it...say something witty. You SAY you like to make people laugh...so make me laugh. Do you expect us to just take your word for it that you are an interesting person? Be interesting! | |

800 people apply for the same job (This is possible. I know from experience). The screening process will immediately cast aside those who don't have the necessary qualifications. Then, the process moves to other qualities you have that I want. The successful applicant will have everything everyone else has plus plus plus.
The screening process is based on the information you give me which is 'what' and 'description'. Your profile is your CV.
I'll pass on repetitiveness so you've got to give me plus plus plus. There is nothing unique about you at all. See the following>>>

job, tall and stay in shape , great personality, sense of humor, love to make people laugh, big kid at heart but that doesn't mean I'm responsible, take care of what needs to be done, I have lots of fun

Don't be like the pretty girl who thinks all she has to do is lay there and everyone will get off on it. Put a little more effort into your profile. Also, change your username to something a prospective cutie can easily pronounce. | |

Posted: 7/6/2008 12:12:48 AM | Like some above posters, I vote to cut out the "message me if you wanna know more." It's unnecessary to say because if someone is interested, they will message you. Also, by writing that, a person can come across as sounding like they don't want to put effort into marketing themselves.
To make your profile more interesting, write down more about what exactly makes your personality so great, what things you find funny, what makes you responsible, and other things like hobbies, quirks, etc. The point of a profile is to sketch out a distinctive personality of what makes you...you. | |
