In golden halls we do rarely see (and take) the tunnel of light. It is in our darkest hour, when all seductive paths remain hidden, terrifying or alienated from us, that we see and walk the longer, harder path, which was always self-evident.
**********
There are many among us with the desire and the will to find the answers we all crave. And yet, we know nothing. It is as if the pieces are obviously lain out before us and we do collect them up; gather them and hold them so very close. Whence one assesses these pieces; moving to build an understanding, they come so close. Rapture kisses their feet - epiphany licks at their heels. And yet, before any do know and see the image in its totality ones mind becomes full to brim. A valve in some endarkened corner releases, all these pieces do spill out . . . and we are all left wondering and never knowing. Does the honey bee know its sting will be its own death? The dog understand the unconditional love for the master? The caterpillar, does it sense its eminent metamorphosis or potential immense beauty of its prismatic variance? Such is our plight; such is our bliss: to remain perpetually ignorant of our own meaning.
**********
Why do we torture ourselves with the desires we maintain? It is because they propel us forward! We move to them and generally pass them by. . .on to new passions! They are a device to ignite the fuel within! Apparati for the apparatus!
**********
Let us say: There is a mass of people trudging down a seemingly perpetual hill. What if you came into being on this hill? What if you were to awake with your feet moving in time to those around you? Would you march alongside them and hope there was a reason? A route free of resistance. Or would you stop, think, and make attempts to wrestle some meaning from these surroundings? Risking tramplings and likely succumbing to abandonment. Or would you fight your way back up the hill to its peak? In the splendid halcyon render your own judgments and descend the hill on a side of your own preference, to a direction you could verily witness and name!
***********
The road to freedom is layed of stones stained with blood, sweat, tears and great suffering. If you ever walk down this road, your own soles will be soiled as such; marked forever with what you have done. Reaching for that which you cannot obtain but desire so greatly. Freedom's white hot light will meet you at your end.
**********
Abandoned is a tricky place to be....you have moved out of innocence and must overcome denial to learn that suffering and pain, scarcity and death are all an inevitable part of life. This stink of knowledge on you, abandonment may not seek you out.

Put many a bold words together for one to read!?! I doubt the fly feels my thumb descend upon him in such the same way!

Deceitfulness destroys our intimacy with higher spirit and deceitfulness brings personal pain, I try to speak simple truth, simply. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Truth requires kindness for healthy communication, let the tongue bring healing and never destruction, alas but to be human, creates such lack. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ In silence we speak volumes, let voices be dimmed so that ears would hear the heart so much better. | |
