Posted: 7/7/2008 12:02:23 AM | Is it just me or does anybody else find this totally weird. Talking about the 'woman' in America who changed sex to a man, but kept her reproductive organs and has now given birth to a baby girl??
What happens when that little girl goes to school and tells her little mates that her 'dad' gave birth to her?? Does that make her dad her mum or what? Knowing how cruel kids can be I think it is giving this kid a whole basket of problems to have to deal with - what do POF'ers think?? | |

Posted: 7/7/2008 12:29:59 AM | I guess it is kind of unusual but there are many kids who are brought up by totally dysfunctional,weird parents who are considered normal.Perhaps this Mum/Dad will do a better job then many of them.
Kids can be cruel but even if there is nothing obvious to pick on they will find something. Best of luck to them I think. | |

BUT
ummm, is it just me but hey, this "man" really is a "woman" .. as in he/she still has the female reproductive organs so I really don't get what all the fuss is about!!!
I mean if it really was a man who did NOT have a uterus etc, then it would be quite newsworthy and sort of miraculous but I still fail to see what the big deal is when a person has a uterus and reproductive organs and gives birth...???? | |

Posted: 7/7/2008 3:46:18 AM | I think its kind of interesting because he actually looks like a bloke. Its not every day that people go through the transgender thing (sorry if I'm using the wrong terminology there) and still have a baby.
I wonder how challenging it was for him to be pregnant and feel the effect of being awash in female hormones again since he had chosen at some stage to put all that behind him.
Stretch marks, feeling weepy, putting on weight round your bum and hips, having to wee all the time including through the night, etc, etc. Suck it up mate, and be a man!!  | |

I thought with the gal to boy thing there was a changing of organs.
This person had their breasts removed. I assumed they had also had their vagina made into a penis.
No. No breasts. Hormones, still a vagina.
That's what I don't get???? Friends I've had go from Boy to Gal have done the "whole" thing.
I worry about the child. What happens with this precious child??? My Dad is my Mum is my Dad????

No I haven't met one yet, but sometimes I wonder if some of the men I see around have an ovary or two especially those who call women the name I detested a man using "b1tch" eeeeeeeeeeek turns me off so much....

probably the kids go home and ask their dad "how come you didn't give birth to us?"

But wait there's more,,,,,,,,,,, They built him his own ladies room as to not offend the other "real women" who worked there. He (she???? it????) took them to court to use the same ladies room as the rest of the company. Yes as a matter of fact he did win,, Still has his pen-is and balls 2 years later, explain the justice in that? Imagine taking your daughter to the "Ladies room" and explaining the feet facing the toilet and the nice waterfall sound???  | |

Now correct me if im wrong but the woman in question is obviously a man trapped inside a woman's body. As in men who have sex change operations feel as though they were always feminine as a child wearing dresses etc etc...and later on they op to have a sex change.
So in this instance, one needs to question the motives behind the pregnancy?
Afterall, if this woman felt she was a man and is in the process of changing into one soon, then surely the baby will be going into care or up for adoption.
Afterall, the majority of women out there think men are **stards and just want a shag, get the girl up the duff and as soon as she cries PREGNANT we up and leave. 
And will this child grow up with some sort of deficiency or hormonal problem itself.
And in the past they use to slander the Russians, Chinese, Germans etc etc for the experimentation methods they did on their own people all in the name of science.
Sorry but its people like this in society they start to create and even more retarded society than the one we all struggle to cope with in modern times.
What next? People start giving birth to orangatangs or monkeys where we came from?

God help the teacher trying to explain to a bunch of 6-8 year olds the role of males/females in the cycle of reproduction. But what about ???'s dad, he had a baby didn't he? How come? It would be priceless trying to explain this one.

It's an interesting phenomenon and that's about as far as it goes. Certainly don't see it as being any more problematic than having two lesbians for parents. At least on the outset this family unit would seem conventional. I really don't like the idea of lesbians and sperm donors etc. There's a kind of hypocracy about the whole notion of it.
