Fly US Airways for easier travel through Hotwire.com or CheapTickets.com, book two weeks prior to departure for most affordable rates. You will also save when traveling during "off peak" times like booking your flights during the week & if you choose connections or fly stand by can save you a little as well. It may help to book a package such as flight + hotel + rental where better rates can be applied. Hope this helps and best of luck!

If it was me. I would save up more money between trips. Take mini trips to local places that I hadn't seen in a while or never seen. Just enjoy, three day weekend trips, while saving up extra cash for the big trips. Then, have all the money I need despite high costs.

well i'm not sure if i can post links or not but this is very helpful to anyone traveling anywhere!

http://www.hotelclub.net/

if you need a hotel anywhere in the world you can book it through their site the good thing about it is that it lists every hotel in the area and lists them by price and star so you can get the best hotel within your respective price range, and it has reviews and pics of 95% of the hotels. i book all my hotels through them!

hope this helped.

I plan too many trips! I'm an addict and I admit it!

I almost always begin my search at www.cheaptickets.com. When I find the lowest price for somewhere of interest on flights, lodging options, etc. I take that information and search directly through the air lines, hotels, AAA, Google, Yahoo, etc. until I find the least expensive price and then if I can - I Price Line below that cost. I know it sounds time consuming but I've been able to secure great prices on flights and other travel expenses and at the very least I know that I'm getting the least expensive price possible.

Recently I began planning a large group cruise and I was able to get fares at an extremely reduced rate because I did my research before speaking to the travel agent. I knew exactly what the cruise line and Cheap Tickets was quoting.

If you ever have specific questions - I'd be happy to help as much as I can.
