| Men without shirts..... Posted: 7/8/2008 8:29:28 AM | OK...just a fun post....for discussion.....should there be a law of sorts....like the women have, for men going without shirts....saw a fellow the other day.....beer belly x 100....omg....sorry...but Please Cover Up! If was frightening....but he was walking along, hair slicked back.... as proud as could be. However, it is hard not to look! Yet , on the flip side...when seeing fellas with a 6 pack....oh what a joy! Although, just like in the post for why do big girls think they are average....confidence goes a long way....or does it.......is there a limit....or something called indecent exposure....just wondering....what are your thoughts.... Those of us that are in the category of BBW....most anyways...try to cover up & camoflauge....how come some of the guys in the Big & Tall , with the huge beer guts do not seem to give a rats a**..... have some dignity guys! | |

| Men without shirts..... Posted: 7/8/2008 9:18:26 AM | Not much different from BIG folks wearing stuff so clingy that 3/4 is plainly visible and the last 1/4 is ummm...... likely concealed there somewhere. To each their own though. If attire like that makes them happy, I'm not about to judge. | |

| Men without shirts..... Posted: 7/8/2008 9:34:32 AM | I work in a very large, busy retail location. This time of year, I see way too much skin!! There comes a time in an adult womans life where she should no longer go without a bra. Belly shirts are for those who have a toned tummy, not for those who's tummy reaches ones knees. If you were white jogging pants, please wear underwear, and cellulite is really not pretty. Mens t-shirts should at least go to the bottom of the beer belly, and also their jeans should cover all of their butt......Say no to Crack.....pull up your pants!!! But please don't pull them up so far that there is a camel toe or moose knuckles on display.....don't need to see that either .....ewwwwww I too have extra flub here and there, but I do keep it well covered. The girls are always saftely tucked in.
I agree it goes with confidence, but.....how can one feel confident when all your jiggly parts are hanging out of your clothes ? To each their own, I really do try not to stare.........
|
| Men without shirts..... Posted: 7/8/2008 9:42:21 AM | I can agree with A_New_Begining on what she has posted both for guys and gals alike. After a certain age when if guys sees a woman's hooters pointing straight at her knee caps and looking like a lump of sand in a sock that is way way to much to not be wearing a bra ladies. Or those tight shorts with your cottage cheese thighs hanging out for the world to see as well. Same goes for us guys flopping out the old Dunlop spare tire/Duncan Doughnut out there as well.
I see all kinds in the summer and it makes me want to scream bloody murder and run the other way especially when I see it at the mall.

| Men without shirts..... Posted: 7/8/2008 9:58:21 AM | I have a few extra right now, but even when I had said 6-pack I didn't feel the need to have out for the whole world to see. Would I have my shirt off at the beach? Yes, out mowing my lawn? Not too likely. Now that I need to regain my 6-pack, it will be a shirt on all the time kind of summer.
Of course the guys with the too tight tank tops look just as stupid as the shirtless ones.

| Men without shirts..... Posted: 7/8/2008 10:28:58 AM | In no way can I claim to be a fashionista, however, I have some sense of taste (besides in my mouth).
One of my favourite questions is: Do you think that girl owns a mirror? The same question can be asked about some of the men I see lately!
Too much skin in public does nothing for me. (other than turn me into a gawker!) As previously stated it CAN be nice to look at, but there is a time and a place!
|
| Men without shirts..... Posted: 7/8/2008 11:34:06 AM | I agree it really isn't too nice to see, esp. in a public place but......
I have to admit I do admire their confidence.
Its like who gives a sh*t attitude and I wish I had that as well.
So yes it is not nice to look at but love the attitude!!!!

| Men without shirts..... Posted: 7/8/2008 1:55:51 PM | Just go the other way. Ontario women fought for and won the right to go topless. Their basis was that men do it, some men being chunky enough that their breasts were larger than some womens breasts.
Women of Alberta! Unite!
You aren't going to let eastern women have more rights than you do, are you? Where and when you choose to excercise those rights is up to you.
Y'know. just throwing that in there.....
|
| Men without shirts..... Posted: 7/8/2008 2:23:20 PM | What makes you think women WANT to run around topless?
Let the Eastern women have more rights, don't know about anyone else, but running around topless is not on my top 5 list of things to do!

| Men without shirts..... Posted: 7/8/2008 2:44:44 PM | OMG ! I loved that band !
Too bad they were just a one hit wonder with that Safety Dance song.

| Men without shirts..... Posted: 7/8/2008 3:25:51 PM | | I wear as little as possible especially on hot days. Short shorts are in and look great with a bikini top. Big guys and girls if they feel like doing it, they should. It's not against the law and at least they are cool. I personally, when I see it, don't give it a second look. It's so common and believe me if you are big, no amount of clothing is not going hide it. People who want to gawk will gawk whether you are clothed or not. | |
|
| Men without shirts..... Posted: 7/8/2008 4:28:22 PM | Camel Toe jeans are another thing just like this ...especially if the woman is a bit larger, and the Camel Toe... has turned into a Moose Knuckle... | |
|
| Men without shirts..... Posted: 7/8/2008 5:58:36 PM | omg....you folks are too funny! I do agree.....to each their own....but people will stare no matter what...if something is out there.....or not...lol....it has nothing to do with judging, but having a bit of tact & decency is nice occasionally. I say, if you have it flaunt it! If you dont, be respectful to yourself & others....jmho....
oops...forgot about that one down east....guess it is whatever floats your boat....
I think if guys had to wear bras or pantyhose...they would definitely change their minds about why some people choose to go without...lol....especially in hot, summer weather....
took me a while to get the camel toe thing....what can I say, I am shy & naive.....lmao! however, was told by a male friend, that in some cases guys really like a camel toe on some women....what makes it ok for some...and not so much for others....guess I have to run to google & look up moose knuckle.....
|
| Men without shirts..... Posted: 7/8/2008 8:03:46 PM | I honestly don't see what the big deal about topless women is. But then again, I am french and married to a french lady. I had no problem back east with her working in the garden or going for a drive in the jeep topless. Different mindset, I guess, but she took it as complimentary if someone stared, and I got to think to myself "drool on, boys. She always comes home with me!"
So I guess the general population gets wigged out if a nursing mother whips one out to feed her baby as well?
|
| Men without shirts..... Posted: 7/8/2008 8:34:24 PM | | ...only if a tattoo that reads "Hot Mama" in a heart is on one of the breasts... | |
|
| Men without shirts..... Posted: 7/8/2008 8:35:05 PM | Men without a shirt, it is not the huge beer guts that bother me or that 6 pack I care, it is when they don't shave their underarms that make me puke, lost all my appetite, feel sick to my stomach. I once saw a man who had grew such thick long black brushes from his armpits, I have no double that a birdie could hide in there and nobody would notice a bit, except the birdie will of course died from suffocation in no minute. Sorry dude, but if you are one of those men, I am just letting out my true feeling and please excuse for the offense I may have just posted. | |

| Men without shirts..... Posted: 7/9/2008 5:15:29 AM | Easy I am with you on this.............. Easterner, so what is the big deal about topless women in public......... whooopie
Yes people in the west get uptight when a woman pops her top up to breast feed a baby. Christ they expect you to cover the child and the breast. this society is so uptight.
Look at the hoopla over the women going topless a few yrs ago while celebrating the flames run for the cup on the red mile.
Some of us just sat back and laughed at albertians making a big fuss

| Men without shirts..... Posted: 7/9/2008 9:23:54 AM | AnApplePear Your post just cracked me up!! You're just too funny !! Thanks | |

I don't think that way. It does make me realize yet again how even within Canada, things that are important in one area are not in others. Cultural differences are seen even within provinces.
We had a friend over from just outside France at Christmas. After an evening out at a pub or three, she was stunned at how much skin Alberta women were willing to show at the bar, wearing mini-skirts and t-shirts that, when dancing, would show a bit of midriff. Shirts that showed a bit of cleavage. In her area, that was an invitation for men to do as they will with you. But she had no problem with topless beaches. Her value system of time and place for how you behave and dress made Alberta women seem incredibly liberal and free with who they are.
But it's nothing to laugh at, just to be aware of. I am an Albertan now and still learning the culture here. When in Rome...... I'll figure it out someday!
|
| Men without shirts..... Posted: 7/9/2008 2:47:33 PM | | so your saying in france, if i see someone dressed decent in the bar, that would be the better pick over someone dressed showing more skin and easier to tell. dam wheres my chequebook lol | |
|
| Men without shirts..... Posted: 7/9/2008 2:54:33 PM | Would that be a third-party, out-of-province, post-dated cheque? Pretty sure they won't take it! Bring francs! | |
|
| Men without shirts..... Posted: 7/9/2008 3:07:48 PM | In response:
Camel Toe = eff'n hilarious!!!
Topless Women = meh, won't do much for me one way or another except if I'z with my man when he was calculating the radius of one's areola. I suspect you'd see more breast on a sunny day down on 17th than anywhere in Ontario.
Men without shirts?: uhhh.......yup - I stare everyday, love those hardassed workers - they seem like real men. I practically run into the median on Glenmore when I'm staring........ "DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT PUT THOSE SHIRTS BACK ON"
|
| Men without shirts..... Posted: 7/9/2008 9:32:16 PM | I think its people not wearing the appropriate clothes, i know i rock my sweat pants and it probably disgusts people, but if i wore no shirt, maybe then the sweats wouldn't matter!
Or we could combine this with another forum!
Men with no shirts in pantyhose! Now that sounds scary!
