| | Parking Info: The closest parking is metered parking lots (depending on the lot, 25 cents an hour or 25 cents a half hour) but it's only necessary to feed the meters until 9:00 pm, so be sure to bring a little pocket change for the meter if arriving early with the rest of us and want nearby parking. |

An 11,000 sq ft bar with a big "Saturday Night Fever"-like lighted dance floor!
Awesome sight and sound system
No credit/debit cards are accepted but there is an ATM machine inside the bar
Must be 21 or older for admittance (the legal drinking age)
A few games are planned -for those that wish to participate- to help promote mingling(please note that prizes are minimal and corny at best...lol)
Also.. for giggles I'm encouraging everyone (whomever is so inclined) to consider dressing the part of the Disco era!! Let's hit Goodwills and Salvation Army and see what we can find cheaply. There will be voting slips readily available at the party and a cheap and corny prize as well for the best outfit!
| Important Note - The area they refer to as their "stage area" is again reserved for us POFers. It’s the step-up area left of the dance floor, however their strict policy is that if enough people in our group aren't present by 8:00 pm to fully occupy that area, our reserved area will at that time be reduced and the remainder of that area will be opened to the general public. So it is imperative that as many fishees as possible arrive before 8:00 pm so that we can keep the entire area to ourselves. Regardless, we can all still be together in that general area but a lot more than need be will be standing (when not dancing) if that occurs. Look for the “POF” marked YELLOW SMILE helium balloons as that’s where our reserved area begins. Be sure to stop at the first table to be greeted, to sign the sign-in book, and to get your badge, and instruction for the mingling games. |

There is a cover charge of $7.00 after 9:00 pmso that’s yet ANOTHER reason to plan to arrive early!

Posted: 7/9/2008 3:37:03 PM | What's so great about so many POF party hosts/hostesses and so many parties being posted is that if you happen to have to miss one, there's always another party the following weekend ..and the weekend after that ..and the weekend after that  . We are all bound to meet up at one or another.
To those of you not traveling that weekend, rest assured you will be over the hangover and the sore feet (hopefully) from this party in time for the traditional Labor Day Monday festivities!

I am very ready to get the party started...Are we doing the arrive early thing again? Does anyone know if they sell food also? I mean if we are getting there early...do they sell dinner stuff? | |
