Posted: 7/12/2008 9:54:58 PM | I would like to than each and every one of you for coming out and making this party a huge success. There were approximately 150 or more out there drinking, danc ing, glancing and *getting acquainted*
As yall know, this was my last event, I have enjoyed the past year abnd a half providing yall with a safe, sane and fun meeting environment. Dubs will be hosting events in the future adn I hope you will lend him the benefit of the support you have shown me. More than 150 of you came out to enjoy Marcaroon's. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Please give your feedback and opinions on this post. I hope you enjoy the photos that were taken.

I had a good time meeting some new people,and placing little pictures here with the real thing. I would have stayed longer,but it was a long day in Buff and that ride doesn't get any shorter,especially after a few beers,ya know?

Macaroons was a great place for a "farewell" party.
Most who know you and others to have made your aquaintance have given theyre thanks by showing up to bid a farewell to a co-ordinator who gave of herself to promote the human need for acceptance, love & romance.
I do believe even though your retired from POF as a party co-ord, you wont be retired in the circle of matchmaking.
This farewell gives birth to a new era, one in which you'll be able to relax and wade through the sea of fish, seeking out your own to spawn with.
Good luck Angel, we all look forward to seeing you at other events, good luck Dubs in the field of romantic cultivation.
P.S. Heidi good to see you again and in better spirits, please contact me and we'll get your computer problems fixed.
I also invite others at POF to e-mail me with theyre computer problems.

Posted: 7/14/2008 6:57:51 AM | I have to say, I think the absense of a band helped create a more intimate atmosphere... if that makes sense. People were actually mingling.... walking up and introducing themselves. We could hear each other talking, and it seemed more friendly.
Thanks Angel... this might have been a farewell party, but one to remember.
I think I saw Rain there, but wasn't sure. Every time I wanted to go up and introduce myself, someone came up to talk to me.
Rain... next time, please say hello. :)

I agree that not having a band was, in itself, not a bad thing. And like I said, I booked for hours before a band on purpose. And you are right, Sharzi - it's nice when you can hear the person you are trying to address. It IS, after all a GET TOGETHER - which happens easier with less noise

I can tell you one thing, I had the most enjoyable time of my life talking to a nice fella there,that i had met that night. He was easy to talk to compared to most of them that I have ahard time conversating with, plus it was easy on the ears, not so loud that you could actually hear what the person was saying without asking them" what did you say" Huh.Without feeling embarrassed of that person thinking that we have a hearing problem. I'm trying to find out who that guy was of who I was talking to that evening. If you know who he is let me know what his profile name is. All I know is his real name is Bill, he is such a honey. I really enjoyed his company and I'd like to email him if only i know his profile name. He is in that number 46 pic with me so if anyone knows his name let me know thanks! Due to my move I have VERY limited access to the internet. Not sure when Time Warner will show up and fix it for us. Anyone who has my land line phone it is not up and running so far. Posted: 7/16/2008 2:34:54 PM | I came fashionably late after the mix around 1125 or so. I really didn't know too many people but once inside I spoke with whoever seemed like they needed approaching :) I left around 1 am and had a decent time and then headed downtown.
I'm glad I was able to liven up cokegurl's and bignaughty's night. Hopefully at least they enjoyed my company? :) Sorry I missed most people. Although it was short lived it was great to see people having fun and wish I was there earlier, but I'm part vampire and can't start out quite that early :)
