Posted: 6/9/2005 2:02:03 AM | I've met five from this site.... not sure if I would want to meet some of them again mind you. Had 2 good meets, 3 not so good ones. You take your chances meeting people face to face. Not always going to work, but if you don't risk it, you will never know. | |

Posted: 6/9/2005 5:52:40 AM | A big zero for me too, but then again, I am just getting a chance to have the freedom to get out this summer... my son is gone for 10 weeks, so can hang up my Mr. Mom hat for a little while, till he comes home in August. There don't seem to be too many active folks around Kansas City, from what I've seen, even ones who'd just like to go out and shoot some pool, have a beer and chat, catch a live band, etc. Then again, I'm rather new here, maybe some will crop up this summer :)

Posted: 6/9/2005 6:53:14 AM | two from this site so far, both nice guys just nothing there...i've met so many from other sites, lots of first dates, a few were more than that but there was one that has become one of my best friends for the past 4 years and one last year that we fell hard for each other but eventually realized we were not headed in the same direction no matter how we strongly felt for each other (that was very hard to accept)....

I'd really like to meet the right one, sooner vs later! lol Oh well, it'll happen in due time and I'm not going to rush into anything. I've been the fool rushing in before and not going to do that again! Hit me on the head enough times, I'll learn!  | |

Posted: 6/9/2005 11:27:38 AM | I have met one person, chatted to him for at least a month. lol sorry i met him, and it was only a coffee date. that is why i express dont spend much money on the first "meeting". i was able to leave him in less than 2 hours.
