PLEASE LOOK FOR THE MYLAR BALLOON THAT HAS LOTS AND LOTS OF FISH ON IT! YOU CAN'T MISS IT!
Free Concert in Manhattan Beach at Polliwog Park on 1601 Manhattan Beach Blvd. between Artesia and Sepulveda on the North side. Group name is Instant Replay and will be singing Oldies.
Bring a blanket and chairs, food, drink - whatever suits your fancy - We will be meeting close to Manhattan Beach Blvd. by the gazebo on the left side of the park - look for POF signs!
Parking is on the street and it is free. You can dance, sing, mingle...very casual dress.
Your hosts will be there by 4 PM. Concert starts at 5 PM.
It's going to be a casual and fun Sunday, if you have any questions please email me , (Rosey604), (HBPatti) or (mugwumps1948) and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

Posted: 7/15/2008 11:55:15 PM | | I've been attending the Summer Concert series at Polliwog park for over 15 years. It's a great place for a picnic. They allow alcohol during the concert days so a good bottle of wine or some beer is perfect. I usually arrive early, around noon, to get a good seat on the amphatheatre lawn area otherwise it's along the grassy areas surrounding that seating area. I'll definitely be looking for our group this time. | |

I used to do this for years with a BBS back in early 90's. Some would bring acoustic guitars and we would sing before the concert. Happy memories .... and near the Gazebo is exactly where we sat.
Wow. Feels like a De Ja Vu to be going back to where I used to be.

We weren't there as a POF group last week - just as individuals - we go there all the time and that's why I thought it was a great idea!
This week you will find us by seeing a balloon - I'll send an e-mail as soon as we get the balloon and let you know what to look for!! We will also have signs.

Thanks for getting back to me. The balloons will definitely help to find everyone. Although I sit near the stage, I want to introduce myself and meet some new local people.
Can you believe how crowded it was last week? Fantastic Diamond is always a park filler upper! I'll be there next time for sure to see Upstream.
