Come out and Party with a Great Band -" Rudy and Saddle Up". Let's celebrate summer and have a beach party....meet new friends, see friends from past events, dance the night away, play a game of pool, have a fun evening with a great group of people.
We hope to see lots of people come out for this event - don't be shy - all members are welcome and any questions will be answered.
When: Friday, August 15, 2008
Where: Raxx Billiards Bar & Grill
Address: 665 Development Drive, Kingston, Ontario K7M 4W6
Time: If you wish to join us for dinner - 7:30 p.m.
Social Time and Dance - 9:00 p.m. until closing
Co-Hosts: geminiiam1 and msspringtime
There will be free pool tables reserved for POF members and also door prizes. Must be 19 years of age or older, in order to attend this event.
Hope to see everyone soon. Please feel free to bring a friend or two with you - the more people, the better!

LOL Sorry to hear you also will miss it RandH - enjoy NB - it's a great place to visit and I am sure you will have a wonderful time there. Great to see new people signing up for events and can't wait to meet you at Raxx. Any questions, feel free to ask. The band is great and will keep the dancers on the dance floor all night. We have been given free pool tables once again so if you prefer - perhaps you can find a partner for a game of pool - or if you are really good at pool - perhaps you could teach me - I am still pathetic at pool but have fun trying! LOL

Just now you can sit down and relax a little or stay on the dance floor and not have to be busy coordinating things - now you can enjoy more! We're hoping to do the dinner beforehand as usual.

Welcome gardening girl - glad to see you are willing to give this group a try and come on out and have some fun. Feel free to introduce yourself to one of us when you arrive and we will be happy to introduce you to others. Also some of us do dinner there beforehand which is a nice way to meet people when it is less busy and quieter - if you are interested feel free to join us for the dinner - you can order what you want - of course people have to pay for their own dinner but hey we all have to eat at some point anyways! Welcome rowena 1, sourbutsweet and welshgal - great to see all of you sign up as well. The numbers are climbing and it means there will be a great group of people ready to have a good time.
imnotyourstar - yes Rudy and Saddle Up play a little bit of everything and they really know how to get the crowd dancing the night away - and Rudy likes to mingle amongst the crowd and ensure that everyone is having a great time. If you have not heard this band play - you really should come on out and give them a listen - you will be pleasantly pleased I am sure!
islandhopper - you are welcome to stop in since you are in the area and if I do say so myself - we are "the" friendliest group of POFer's! We want everyone to feel welcome and have a good time - and I am sure you will meet some people you can add to your list of friends for a long time to come.
Now to answer JustMe - beach party does NOT imply grass skirt because we all know how that turned out at the camping event - and I do have the pictures to prove it! We were thinking you and the amigos would wear scuba gear! LOL at least then we know you are covered! hehehe Actually my friend - wear whatever you wish - it's all about being comfortable and having fun! Oh and thanks msspringtime - glad to see I get the tough ones!!! The three or is it now officially four amigos are always keeping us on our toes......but they are truly a great bunch! | |

There is already talk of the ever popular October Halloween party so stay tuned for info once we get through August! One party at a time people! hehehe
Already have a costume JustMe - hmmmm advance planning on a man's part - that SCARES me! LOL Just teasing you JustMe - I am sure you are just trying to outdo last year's number!
July is flying by and August is just around the corner - and then we will start the ever popular "count down" till the event!
