I wrote this for a very good friend after i was kicked out of basic training 2 years ago. She has always been there for me. We do love eachother, but it is a unique love. That shared between the closest possible friends. A great friendship and unfortunately nothing more. She was the first girl i ever cried for. And though she feels the same, we never have and never will be come anything more. Our friendship is too important to risk. She will be married soon. To a guy even i think is great for her. i hope you enjoy Eternal Love.

life is nothing more
than choices we make
decisions for now
and decisions for the future
the choices of others
leave their mark

life is a waiting game
but time is not infinite
the clock reads
a valuable number
every second counts
and is worth more than gold
every minute of our lives
is one we can never get back

lifes decisions
let us know
where our time is spent
lifes choices
let us know
how our time is spent

but destiny has a say too
the fates impact us as well

life is not flat fact
it is the gray area inbetween

forever does not exist
as we know it
it is an abyss
of timeless eternity
within time
and outside of it

my thoughts run rampant
my choices seem wild
my decisions have been unwise
my time wasted never to return

friendships nearly lost
in the infinate abyss
hopes and dreams
came close to being swallowed

faith is a new testament
to my reality
for all is being swayed
like ripples in the ocean

my heart has been shaken
almost torn apart
by misplaced trust
a bad decision

my mind nearly broken
almost annialated
by those in authority
a hasty choice

time has been lost
never to be had again
thrown to the gates
of timeless eternity

the stars shine
the moon is full
the sun rises
on a new day

old friends come back
they never left
mearly they waited
for my own return

they saw my choices
they knew my mistakes
they hurt as i did
they waited

love old is new again
harder true
but stronger
and revitalized

time goes by
choices are made
decisions are reached
life begins again

gold is worthless
silver seems dull
diamonds no longer sparkle
time has come

time to move forward
time to go
time to be near
time to love

the scariest thing
is not knowing the way
to be guided
by one new to the path

it's exciting
traveling the road together
it's incredible
this bond we share

time stands still
if we make it
we can experience forever
within our hearts

3t13, for many reasons I loved that....the circle goes round and you show that in your writing of this painful and beautiful process you have been through...as well as this eternal love you have..

and don't worry..I hear your inner voice and all you need do is listen inside yourself for guidance...........(although it helps sometimes to talk to the old ones who are on the other side LOL)

I can feel the struggle and the fact your friend was there waiting for you to return. I really like how you portrayed your struggle and built it up for the person who was there waiting.

this was written for the same friend around the same time. but the circumstances that lead to this one were a bit different, it seemed like we were almost going to be able to take things to the next level but this was before we realized that what we had was much too precious to ever change. though as i have said i always have and always will love her as my dearest friend.


who could make me feel joy
as the calls became fewer and farther
i continued to try
nothing but a sad resemblance of peace
between me and them
all the others who never compared
then when all looks lost
it gets even worse
i am blindsighted by possibility
but this too will never come
because the one it lies in
is not the one i am meant for
we made plans in blissful nievate
but she wouldnt put aside herself
for the greater good that could have come
a talent ive only witnessed in you
during the road through hell
i hear things no one should ever learn
i come to realize that you are the only one
i have ever connected with
on the most profound level
i am trying my sweet with all my might
to rekindle the friendship
i feel i nearly lost
my only plan was to be there for you
as you have always been for me
but again on the fateful day we met
with a gaze into the eyes of beauty
sparks flew again
it is now that i realize
you have never left me
but i merly tried to close myself off
to sheild you from my pain
in truth all i did was amplify it
because you are the only one
who could have releived it
with no negativity in the crossfire
our bond is immortal
it will go on through it all
from now until the day judgment comes
