| Is anyone really looking for happiness?

If you have a wife, two kids and two on the way I would rather know ahead of time and skip the drama. I'm not really big into the playing games. I'd like to meet someone who likes me for me and lets me like them for them.. not what they say in passing emails.. Good Grief!!! Is there not any honest people left in the world? I have also found that some women dont like total honesty. I would like to know that after a woman gets to know the real me, why they all of a sudden just seem to lose interest and then make it look like my fault? They are either too busy or just come up with one lame excuse after another. But I'm not jaded yet, I will keep trying. | |

Posted: 4/4/2006 12:27:54 PM | LOL I met somebody in real life in January, who turned out to be so incredibly horrible that my MOTHER actually told me "You better get back on that internet and find somebody decent."
Just goes to show you - if we'd met on line, we would have thought we were perfect for each other. Everything lines up perfectly except that we just did not click, no matter how hard we (I) tried.
On the bright side, he did invite me to be his sex buddy, and I was like, "WOW! Somebody asked me to be a sex buddy! I still GOT it."  Of course I told him, nah, I don't think so...
I told him what I want and I was honest: I would call a sex buddy a 1 and a girlfriend a 10. I want something around a 6 or 7 because I'm very busy and don't have time for a bunch of junk and don't want anybody hovering around 24/7.
I told him when he could come up with at least a 5 to give me a holler. :) | |

One day, when I've bought all the toys I want, I'll come off the road and hopefully find a nice, old fashioned girl. I'm doubting it though. | |

Finding someone to match your personality is nothing short of complex and tricky. I believe honesty is essential to the process. I believe better early than a few years down the road!.
I think there are some of things to consider, even alone you need to be happy. I believe because I have the freedom to search, I am happy. I have found several good friends that I would not have otherwise, so it's not a total lose! Good friends also allow for a relationship to grow, I believe some good things can come out of a well grounded friendship. Ahaa!!! Well we're all adults here let's have fun! | |

Hey I say amen to what you say Idy being honest all the way. I'm 57 divorced twiced, still trying to catch that great white shark.I think all the good fish has been caught .I don't know what it is , but I've had a few that says they are interested but the email is far & few on here. I don't know maybe I'm to upfront don't pull any punches.I'm just me ,not perfect  by a long shot .I don't curse, not a drunk, even though I do drink a couple of drinks once in a blue moon at night or not into drugs. I'm not sure what guys are searching for any more.Most I meet want their cake & eat it to.Games are for kids, myself I like fun , but there is also a serious side to life.Love is a serious matter, not to be played with.Is anyone looking for happiness ,look no you don't have to look .Happiness just happens with the right person.But the ? is where is all these right people ,good honest guys.EEEEm Are there any left???????? Just can't understand why people lie about themselves online because you are probably eventually going to meet that person and I myself just couldn't meet the person I was talking to if I told them I was 5'7" very slender, blonde hair when in reality I am 5'4" very heavy and gray hair(which I'm not) lmao but just an example.
I've been without companionship for over 6 years now and have just about resigned myself to the fact that I'm not going to meet that person meant for me. Hell, right now I would just be happy to meet people to go out with and have a good time. I don't like going out by myself so I don't get out which makes my chances of meeting someone slim to none. | |

I have faith....and sites like these just make it easier to find people in your town or surrounding areas. I knew I wasn't alone in my search for happiness....eventually I'll find the person that I can spoil and will spoil me in return.. then my search will be over. | |
