Posted: 7/21/2008 3:48:06 PM | We all have a great time on here for the most part, bantering, laughing, having fun, kidding, teasing, making friendships that will hopefully last forever!
I think we can all agree that michigan forums are a wonderful place to be, an exception to the rule compared to a lot of the forums I've read!
I know on the worst days I can come here and come away with a smile or at the very least, come away knowing someone cared and understood, you all have become my rocks!
So with that said, I have to speak up today as it's been on my mind lately and when I saw a post from a friend pointing out something to me...it was an ouch...but the truth.

We all are different, we come from very unique backgrounds, take things in different perspectives, type things we mean one way but others may see things a totally different way without intent to hurt or harm.
I have just realized I can't go to the joke thread anymore. Not one thing on there is meant to insult me personally, I trully do know this, these guys are all my friends...
but with where I have just come from in my marriage/divorce I can't bear any more woman jokes...sillly, but that's where I am right now in my life. To me, a little bit goes a lonnng way and then I find it awful after years of abuse and trying to recover from that.
I've gotten better....I can laugh a little now.
This isn't meant to point fingers at anyone as we are all guilty at one time or another of misbehaving....LOLOL ...I readily admit to being a star  lmao....
but I think lately there are feelings getting hurt so I hope we can be careful what we say and how we say it...including myself. Some of us tend to get carried away in the name of fun and it's not. Let's not be insulting, or trashy...we have a great place here....I love it, We love it!
Well...I've never been deleted yet but there's always a first for those that can't handle the truth or my perception of it.
I love you all....everyone on here rocks....I just want to be able to come here and not leave feeling bad so I thought it best to open my BIG mouth and speak my piece  | |
