Posted: 7/22/2008 10:27:17 PM | We will be gathering for some great food and conversation at the Fox & Hound English Pub on Thursday, July 31st. The Fox & Hound has a menu that will fit anyone's taste...burgers, sandwiches, appetizers and so much more. Besides the great conversation ( don't forget the ice breakers), you can utilize the pool tables for entertainment !! 
Date: Thursday July 31st
Time: 6:30-?
Place: Fox & Hound English Pub 506 N.120th in the Western Crossing Shopping Center
Please be sure to RSVP so we have enough seats for everyone. Friends are welcome but please let me know so I can count them in the final number.

Ok I am over it now. I am wondering WHY we don't get more men involved in these dinners. It is so easy for you to come out and join everyone. And if those "other women" (not me of course LOL) won't sit by you (and I really doubt that would be an issue considering this is a DATING SITE) then you can gather at the other end of the table and talk to the other boys...opps men. Kate's ice breakers get better and better at breaking the weird feelings up FAST...

Posted: 7/25/2008 3:16:47 PM | I've gotta wonder at the exposure these events are getting judging by the one I attended last month there. It was by sheer dumb luck that I happened to be ogling *someone's* page and saw the forum post listed on their profile.
I admit I was a littled worried that it'd be lame but I gotta say, it was not even a little bit lame. I had a great time and what's more I met some people that I want to see more of. Yes, this IS a testimonial, why do you ask? No, Kate's NOT paying me off.
I suggest the gals do what I did the last time. I did an Omaha search and sent messages to women individually inviting them to attend. 2 out of 10 showed up, whether or not I had anything to do with it. No reason you ladies couldn't do the same to some guys you'd like to see there.

Even though I made it clear it was an invite to a open party and not that I personally wanted to meet them, they still thought I was trying to "meet them" OR they said "sure I will be there" and were a no show. WHAT'S A GAL TO DO?
just come on out to the dinner boys and I am sure you will really laugh your butts off. If nothing else at Tom's "shyness" (yea right) or at Dave's kilt.  time will tell what we will be finding out about Joel. and Jim...well I have to be nice to him cuz I want my Christmas gift from him this year. LOL | |
