A strange thing happened to me today. I was in correspondence with a member, and her pictures never showed up on the letters. (There is supposed to be a thumbnail picture when you open someone's letter to you in PoF's internal mail.)
Then my messages to her messages disappeared. One after an other, and there are none left in my "Sent messages" box.
My letters to all other people's letters show up, nicely, just like before and after.
The member did not discontinue her membership, suspend it, or otherwise stopped it. Her profile is still up, and there are pictures of her on the profile.
This is a complete mystery to me.
Would this happen if someone suspended his or her own membership temporarily? I guess temporary discontinuation would purge her correspondent's "sent" messages of their letters to her. Just like if she totally discontinued her membership. Any hard-and-fast answers to this?
