Huge appreciation to the D'Js ..You all did a fantastic job.
Thanks to the co hosts without your support these events would not be possible...
As far as smoking outside is concerned, the venue DOES impose that only five people can be outside at any one time..This policy applies to every night of the week regardless of what events occur...

Special Thanx to a selected few who made the Pre-Meet.
This may be my last event as I've kinda met someone from this site now. We're good friends at current and it's still early days yet to see where it may lead.
But nevertheless, I'll try making the next one.

Well, I have to say that last night was really good, for someone who stayed sober and got a £60 parking ticket, im amazed i was still happy when we eventually got home.
It was an excellent turnout, one of the best for ages, was excellent to see Jules, Tanya and the guys from Brighton.
I have to make a special mention to the "walk to the car" troupe, which was hilarious, cant believe you couldnt sell Misty's shoes Paul, so funny. Thanks to Mo for the chips and of course organising the whole Pre-Meet and cant wait for Thorpe Park!!
Thanks to the DJ's, always excellent but dont remember hearing Mungo Jerry - HAMS!! 
Spoke to lots of people about the Masquerade Ball on 23rd August, and i dont think there is anyone NOT making the effort and going the whole hog, so cant wait for that, will be a special evening.

My birthday..... well I had a blast,special thanks have to go to Specoid for making me a cake not any old birthday cake but a cake I will thoroughly enjoy......My cards were lovely and to all those that offered or bought me a drink ....Thank you!
To the D'js and Mo (for doing the pre meet)..Thank you..
The walk back to the car lol lol what fun and to the guys who tried and failed miserably to sell my shoes and flowers to passers by...shame on you ...Have to say thank you to the guy that saved the day and treated us to a bike ride down oxford street....
I would like to remind all members that once hosts arrive at venue ....hosts become ordinary members and any problems should be reported to and dealt with by the venue staff.
Was nice to see lots of people who I knew and lots of new people who I now know..
One guy in particular who shocked the life out of us....You are nothing like your on line persona and it was nice to meet you...
Another good night ,,so thank you all that attended after all it is you the members who make the night... | |

Posted: 7/27/2008 4:06:09 AM | Well I finally managed to stroll in at around 11 to play the last hour or so. It was a great turn out last night, seemed to be the busiest night yet and lots of people dancing and generally having fun which is what its all about.
Just a reminder, IF YOU WANT A TUNE PLAYED ON THE NIGHT PLEASE REQUEST IT BEFORE HAND BY EITHER PUTTING IT ON THE PARTY THREAD OR MAILING ONE OF US DJ'S DIRECT. Time and time again we were asked to play tunes none of us had, we cant carry every single tune in the world around with us. This just keeps happening all the time and it gets a ball ache when people get funny with us for not having the tune that they want.

ask us guys BEFORE the meet if you would like us to play a particular song for you..
We do not carry every single song in world and need time to find and download em.

Am i the only one who misses the dedication of a few exceptional photogrophers who spent endless selfless hours taking so many perfect pics that people had to request ones that didnt make the grade sent to there inboxes?
None pc but...these guys did an invaluable service to pof!!
Im not having a go at anyone who takes time to produce pics..but there seems to be plenty of reason for dedicated pic takers to attend many meets!
Was that ok? did i get away with that?

I am not being critical in any way about those that give up there time to take pics.I respect them all and its got absolutely nothing to do with this threads pics.
It is a call if you like for more avid pic takers to attend meets and contribute there tallents.Ive known fantastic snappers who have combined there proffesionalism with still having a great night themselves too!
Most attending an evening event,as an example,can decide to call it a day well before the evening is through as far as pic taking is concerned.
There is no obvious forum to point out the need for snappers.
Errmmm,i did say SNAPPERS!!!!
