Iran found three significant oil deposits in the southwest of the country, Oil Minister Gholam Hossein Nozari said.
Currently, Iran is the second largest producer among the countries of OPEC, behind Saudi Arabia.
The latest discovery was made near the city of Abadan. The estimated oil-in-place amounts to 500 million barrels.
Nozari said the new oilfield would be called Arvand.
On July 20, the Oil Minister said that the National Iranian Oil Company had made a discovery in the coastal city of Assaluyeh, in an area, which previously yielded only gas.
The estimated oil in place is 525 million barrels.
On July 13, Nozari said that Iran has made a new big discovery in Andimeshk in the oil-rich province of Khuzestan, with recoverable reserves estimated at 233 million barrels and 1.1. Billion total crude reserves.
The new discoveries are giving credibility to Iran's claims that it will increase its output by 0.1 million barrels a day by next March.

But they are not taking it out deliberately, because what they really want to do is not have US independent, bankrupt the United States by the destroying the currency PRIMARILY by issuing more liquidity and thus debt, and then come in as "saviors" to introduce the AMERO, and thus dissolve US, Canada, and Mexico into one country. | |

As far as i know, the oil found in places like alaska is not "sweet" and easier to refine like the mid-eastern brew in iran. And besides, as a canadian, i have reservations about the yanks makin' a mess of the north. That's all we need is more oil development. The alberta tar sands are being exploited by the american oil cos., and the local ($) is doin' great, but the local ENVIRONMENT is goin' down the tubes. It takes a sh**load of water to refine a barrel of crude. And the people who live up there (mostly natives) are complaining but not getting heard.
Sorry, but i don't trust your american government or your businesses. Big money, big power, big ****ing deal. Screw the amero. But we'll see what haps. Most canadians are as greedy and ignorant as the yanks. But many people don't like the BIG GORILLA in the room.
More and more people are seeing the writing on the wall, and thats a good ting, mon. If israel gets their way and iran is nuked, get ready to pay 10 bucks for a gallon of gas!

All else being equal, 500 million barrels is imported into the US in 35 DAYS.
1.1 billion barrels would last 78 DAYS.

I found a Case of Valvoline 20-50 racing oil....
A years supply at the current rate of use. ....
This may be some of the reserves I had not developed... or a new discovery.
