....ron, i greive for you, and many others will too...for you cannot ever be replaced!
your wit, your humor, your knowlege and charisma..the way you jumped right into the thick of things, your were a brawler, a barn burner from days of yore!
you had an eye for the ladies and a silver tongue to charm them with,
a twinke in your eye and a dash of mischief, you gleefully threw caution to the wind
and boldy took your chances when you chose!
you were adventerous and fun! oh you were fun! and kind...and no one will ever be able to walk the walk you did or stand as tall as you ....
and i miss you my freind...keep your lines tight, and tie your flies! | |

For many of us who knew him he was that "One In A Million", that touched us in a
special way.

it is but a gateway ...a passing thru into another realm and i know i will see ron on the other side!
and yes, ron is that "one in a million" and he will always be just a call away...and i will continue to talk to my friend any time i want to..he is still there for me, just like he has always been .,..just in a different way.
as for the rest of you, don't stop talking to him, don't stop listening for his laughter, or stop feeling his presence in your lives,...for if you do, you will lose his memory and your lives will be lacking the legacy that this wonderful man leaves behind!

I, too believe that the soul is eternal and that love is too, like God the only forevers that exist. So the soul and body now reside in different places and shares a place in our hearts.
So we say to our dear friend, with the bittersweet of tears and smiles not goodbye but til next we meet. | |

ron knew that hug tooo....: )...it came from the toes to the heart..and wrapped all the way around a person ...and he is still able to send us those kind of hugs..
dont ever think he cant!
and by the way...you are all welcome..i just thought we needed a place to tell him goodbye...i wrote to pandy and told her about this thread...i hope they let us keep it going... | |

God doesn't make a mistake, he's where he should be. And while we miss him, his great stories, his caring and his hearty laugh, it's a privilege to be able to still share his spirit. | |

This statement rings very true of these pond waters, deep friendships have been formed, and it is always sad to see a long time member leave us in this way. As one who has been here nearly three years, I very much remember "Thudpuckers" posts, and he did offer great advice and always to the point.
I am sorry to hear of his passing, and I do offer up my prayers to his family, and that he will make a safe journey to our almighty creator.

And thanks LadyDi for the heads up. And I'd like to say there goes another amazing person who went out of her way to reach out to someone else here.
The people who do this, and who touch our lives, didnt have to, they chose to.

....some of you had already found this thread so i skipped those names..and if there are any that i left out let me apologize in advance..there are so many ppl on here that loved ron..its hard to think of all of you...and i am greiveing for my friend as well..
ron, i will always love you and i will miss talking to you on the phone but we will still talk, you know that as well as i do..and i will always hear your laughter,and your jokes and feel your compassion.,..and we will still keep our hooters date ...just like you were here...you will be in spirit...and i love you big guy! always my friend! | |
