| Is it safe in Hartford? Posted: 8/18/2008 3:08:54 PM | | I like to travel down to Hartford several times a year. But I just read in the paper that there was some kind of riot and shooting in the northern part of the city. Looks like there's a curfew on teenagers too. Is this being blown out of proportion? Or should I take some weapons with extra clips and wear body armor next time I visit? | |

| Is it safe in Hartford? Posted: 8/27/2008 5:27:00 AM | | IT DEPENDS ON WHERE YOU GO IN HARTFORD. STAY OFF OF PARK STREET AND ALBANY AVE. BUT ANY PLACE YOU GO IS NOT 100% SAFE SO JUST USE COMMON SENCE. | |

| Is it safe in Hartford? Posted: 8/27/2008 6:09:36 AM | | I've been by Park Street. It is only 4 blocks south of the Bushnell where I go. I drove up by Albany Ave, but didn't get out of the car! Is that where the riot was? Was there a riot? Or did the newspaper exagerate? They do that a lot. | |

| Is it safe in Hartford? Posted: 2/1/2009 7:33:34 PM | wait are you serious? i've lived near park street all my life and i've been on albany ave. it's not dangerous unless you think it is...as long as you respect people, people will respect you. I really don't like all the 'is hartford safe?' crap it gets on my nerves so easily because people have all these missconceptions of my city and it gets to a point where i want to yank out my hair and scream.
hartford is safe...new britian on the other hand i can say isn't all that safe and i can say that from spending time there from when i used to visit my aunt that lives/lived (dunno if she still does or not) out there. | |
