Tickets: $15.00 and grouped as a table of 10 people . There will be designated POF tables so you can sit at any of the tables saying "POF". I believe there are a couple of other singles groups as well in attendance... a great chance to meet new people !! Signing in here does not give you a ticket, you need to call Billy directly to reserve your seat and ticket and you need to mention you are with POF.

This event was held at a much smaller venue last year , the ticket fee was $ 18.00 and the Halloween party was a great success . This year the tickets are only $ 15.00 PLUS there are TWO bands playing this year, wow what a great deal and venue.

Dressing up is always fun. Keeps us thinking young and allows us to be a little silly.
This Halloween dance promises to be a night filled with great music, not only from one band but TWO! … and of course, a chance to get together with all the wonderful people from POF. Being open to the public it is also a chance to see many new faces and make new friends. That is what these events are all about; getting out there and doing something instead of just thinking about it.
For those that have never been to a POF event, the Halloween dance is a good place to start. You can always disguise yourself, wear a mask, if you feel a little shy. Think about it. 
As Christa1 mentioned, Billy Dixon is offering a special group rate for a table of 10. If you don’t know that many people, as all your friends are married etc., you can network through here, making up groups so that you can take advantage of the special rate. We hosts cannot do this for you but you are free to contact any of those who have signed up for the event. Just change your settings to “accept everyone” and contact each other or just post through this event asking. If you plan on coming alone, or a NEWBIE, by doing it this way, it will give you an opportunity to meet up with other POFer’s and therefore you will surely get to know those at your table. But I wouldn’t wait too long on this. For those that want to reserve a table …it’s up to you how you want to fill it. WE HOSTS HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH THE SALE OF TICKETS OR THE RESERVING OF TABLES. I can hardly wait to see all the costumes this year , especially at this venue which is larger then the one we attended last year. | |

I should be back from my travels by this date and if so I'd love to take part in the festivites. But I won't be signin up till I get home so I have a much better idea as to if I'll be able to attend. I hope so though.

Posted: 10/14/2008 8:02:41 PM | Halloween is approaching us and so is this event…..which means for those of you that plan on attending and have not yet purchased your ticket, don’t forget in order to get your ticket at HALF PRICE you must do it soon. We have reserved some tables for POF members and those of you that are concerned about going alone, there is no need to worry, as you will be able to sit with the group. Just purchase your ticket early and be counted in. 
As Christa1 said earlier, let Billy Dixon know that you are with POF, purchase your ticket and a seat will be reserved for you.
With this event being open to the public there will be many new people and I’m sure a lot of great costumes (of course optional) and with TWO BANDS it is going to be another promising event filled with high energy, good music, a great bunch of people and just clean fun.  | |

I can't wait to see all the great costumes, lets see if we can top last years costumes which were awesome
Also remember, the dance starts at 7:30 PM , your drinks are $ 5.00 each and there won't be any food available, so please make sure you have dinner before you get to the Hall.

Guess which one I chose.....
Not sure yet if I'll be dressing up, but I will look forward to seeing everyone at this event and all the great costumes. I also look forward to dancing with Billy Dixon again. | |

For those of you who have signed up here but did not order your ticket from Billy Dixon, my suggestion is to do so very very soon, before Saturday. This will be a great party with about 300 people in attendance, (that number could change drastically )woohoo
We will hand out bracelets once everyone is seated at the POF designated tables, so watch for your host's.
