My question comes from a comment made in another thread by goddess (see the thread about being asked for a loan).
Suppose we are propositioned like in that movie with Demi Moore and crusty what's his face Douglas? For those who don't know the movie, she was offered $1 million.
I thought about it and a million sounds good. Not because I reckon I'm that good in the sack. It's just I know I can get my grubby hands on a decent loan.

Posted: 8/31/2008 4:18:42 AM | Sounds great because just think how much less financial pressure there would be in the marriage if the mortgage was taken out and how much more you can do as a family......so the price would be whatever a nice house is in your area or current mortgage depending on where you are in the country as house prices vary greatly, oh and don't forget the tennis court and pool and whatever other luxuries you want  | |

As for me, I personally think the only man on the planet that can afford me is the Sultan of Brunei Darrusalam. Sir Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah. Notice that he is a SIR! This is why.

I've turned down a bit more than that. The thought of choosing a house to 1.5 million was like waiting for a huge lottery payout. Then reality set in and I knew he'd literally own me.
Now if a young yumyum Mr Redford was to offer...I can then afford everyone except Mr Freckle, goddess and sir...and have change. | |
