DIRECTIONS: Coming into town North or South on Interstate 30, Take the 6th Street Exit. Go West on 6th Street about 3 blocks to Rock Street. Turn Right on ROCK St. and then Immediately LEFT into the LEGION Parking Lot.
THE AMERICAN LEGION IS A SMOKE FREE FACILITY: The venue has excellent security with an attendant on duty in the parking lot. It is Clean and Well Kept. It has a Pool Room and a Dining Room away from the Ball Room where you can sit and chat with someone you have met. The Venue can handle up to 320 seated guests and has ample FREE parking. It is a great enviroment for a Plenty of Fish Party.
COVER CHARGE: $5.00, Covers everything except your Food and Drinks
FOOD SERVICE: Since the Legion will have it's 10 FOOT TV SCREEN tuned to the Razorback - Texas Foot Ball Game, Stadium Type Food will be served, ie, Hotdogs, Nochos, French Fries, etc. and of course plenty of Beer.
DRESS CODE: Jeans to a Business Suit or a Party Dress. Come as you like, you won't be made to feel out of place. NO SNOBS HERE.
AGE RANGE: The Venue serves alcoholic beverages so you have to be 21 or older. Other than that we are All Inclusive. Come one Come All.
MUSIC: The music will be provided by the WARREN CROW BAND, Starting at 8:00p.m. till Midnight. This band plays ALL KIND of MUSIC, and is a great band to dance too. It is not your Typical Band with Guitars and Drums that blow the Paint off The Walls. They are the very best for a Plenty of Fish Party. They play lots of Slow Dances with a lot of Ladies Choices.
ABOUT THE ATTENDEES: They are well behaved and conduct themselves as Ladies and Gentlemen. They are the most Courteous and Congenial group of people I have ever been associated with.
OTHER ENTERTAINMENT: KARAKOE in the dining room with a DJ and you can Join right in. This is for the early arrivals and will be from 7:00 pm till 8:00 pm when the Dance starts. This is also a good time to meet someone, Early, and get a head start on a Dance Partner for later. You can dance on the small dance floor in the Dining Room or just sit and get aquainted. The Legion offers the best accomodations as a place to meet and get to know a new friend.
HOTEL ACCOMODATIONS: We have made special arrangements with the following Motor Hotels for POFers. The rates listed are plus tax. The Rate is Per Room, And Additional Guests are NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE. THIS HAS JUST BECOME A REAL DEAL PLENTY OF FISH PARTY, So wear your Razorback Red and Come to the Legion on the 27th and Get Ready to Fish and Call the Hogs. Stadium type food will be available for your dining pleasure. If you do the Ball Game, Karakoe, and the Dance, you might want to bring an over nite bag with a change of clothes and a toothbrush. It is my great pleasure as co-hostess to welcome each and every one of you to the Little Rock Legion's POF party on the 27th! Welcome!
I have really enjoyed the previous parties I've attended there and look forward to this one with great anticipation. You are a fun group of people and I like the fact that you are friendly to one and all. Keep up the cheerful attitude!

We had 157 people and the group was fairly evenly devided both men and women. The ones that emailed, said it was one of, if not the best, party they had ever attended, and it will be no less, in fact we expect it to be more this time. We are still planning the event. We have several ideas we are toying with, trying to decide which one You as the attendees will like the best. We will let you know as soon as we decide so keep watching the Bulletin Board in the Header Page of the Party Profile . Men it is time for you to let the ladies know you are coming by signing up, After all it is YOUR Party for there wouldn't be one without you. The more men that sign up the more ladies will follow.

She is thinking about that. Also the entertainment before the dance is still being planned. We are talking about a lot of things and all of them are exciting. I will let you know but mid- week next week. We are definately going to have a good party. We will post here on the thread and in the Party Profile Header Page. Watch both next week. Thanks

Both these Quality Motor Hotels are located at the 6th street exit off Interstate 3o and are only 3 to 5 blocks away from the Legion Club and both offer Shuttle Service. THE LEGION HAS A 10 FOOT, I SAID A 10 FOOT, TV SCREEN IN THE DINING-LOUNGE AREA AND IT WILL BE TUNED TO THE RESCHEDULED RAZORBACK - TEXAS FOOT BALL GAME. WE WILL HAVE CHEER LEADERS ON HAND TO HELP US CALL THE HOGS. The time of the game has not been announced yet, but that doesn't matter. Whatever the time, the game will be going hot and heavy at the Legion. THE LEGION WILL BE SERVING STADIUM FOOD FOR YOUR DINING PLEASURE, ie, Hot Dogs, Nochos, FrenchFries, etc. BE SURE AND WEAR YOUR RAZORBACK RED AND COME ON OUT AND JOIN US. What more could you want in a party than Razorback Football, Plenty of Fish Ladies and Gentlemen, Beer and Food? We will fill in the Details as they come available, So stay tuned to this thread.

Thanks again for hosting this party. At the last one, I really had a good time. The band was really good and I danced all I wanted and more. I go to the parties to meet new people and have a good time. I was glad that the shuttle was there to take me from Comfort Inn to the Legion. I felt safe to know that I did not have to drive over there or get in a empty car and drive back to the hotel. Posted: 9/15/2008 7:55:19 AM | Hey Folks the Arkansas-Texas Football Game will be in Austin, Not Little Rock. There was talk about moving it to Little Rock because of Ike but it is on in Austin. That makes our party even more important because you can watch the game on a 10 foot TV screen, Live.
I would like to welcome sexynana6 -Bonnie and sweetcheeks61 - Mary as Hostesses. They accepted my request and we now have a crew.
