| What do you NOT like about sex?
Posted: 9/9/2008 9:17:11 AM | I thought I'd pose this question since, on occasion, someone responds to a thread by calling a sexual act gross or nasty (or other terms of disgust).
I've heard and read comments from people (women, mostly - not to pick on them but it's true) who said that sex was "too messy and not worth the time." In another thread, I mentioned a previous girlfriend who didn't like French kissing. Some people don't like certain parts touched or licked. Some people don't like to be seen naked. Can you have sex without being naked?
Most of the people here seem more liberated than average, so this thread may have a short life. But I'm still interested if any brave souls want to admit their dislikes here. You never know - it could lead to some matchmaking ("You hate that, too?!"). Also, if it doesn't apply to you, what have you been surprised to find out about others' dislikes? | |

Mind you, it always surprises me the number of men that just go snakey at the thought of tasting their own ejaculate, and the number of men and women who are so dead set against anal play.

It never ends. There are just times when you have intermission, and other times when the cast changes. Sometimes the plot twists and turns, making it the story a little hard to follow. And, sometimes, you need to change the set or bring out more props. | |

Posted: 9/9/2008 11:01:51 AM | I really don't think there is much about sex itself that someone wouldn't like, unless they were somehow a germaphobe or something.
Naturally, there will be various 'flavors' of sex: positions, fetishes, etc that some people will find revolting and others will love. Its really all about preferences, much like someone might love mayo on a hamburger while others (like myself) that think its horribly wrong and that only ketchup and mustard are good for it.
The only real things that I dislike about sex would have to be: Not lasting as long as you would like (I think most guys will run into this issue from time to time anyway), and not getting enough. Thankfully, the first part isn't often an issue... so its the not enough part that is kind of a drag.
I think the main point is that people should just state their interest or disinterest in something, and not flip out about it, get overly defensive, or call people sluts or whores just cause they have different tastes than you do. Seriously, people are different... get over it and be mature about it. | |

I have preferences and so do you. Anyone claiming anything else is bullshitting, hasn't had sex recently, or is a really sad individual who has associated love/self-esteem with sex.
I don't really like french kissing, unless its during sex. I hate my nipples played with unless it's during sex. I don't like when my husband stabs me too hard, I don't like having sex in the shower because the truth is, shower sex is shit unless you have the right shower and body type.
I'm not fond of the mess afterwards because it means i have to clean up and not just snuggle. You might have a bunch of suggestions for this problem, but I have my solutions. But it is a big reason why most women wont just do a quickie anywhere unless there is a condom involved..
I dislike receiving oral. I find my clitoris is too sensitive since I have a very small labia minor. I have to be in the mood for it, and I'm trying to learn how to get passed it.
I hate the leg cramps. I hate when youve had sex for too long and it all starts to blend, and you go a bit numb. I hate when someone has bad B.O.. Just because I'm lost in the feeling of how it all feels doesnt mean my nostrils are going to ignore it, and I hate when that snaps me out of the mood.
There is probably a ton more, but for the most part we all come up with little short cuts around our sex dislikes. Plus if you are having sex with someone you really like, you won't even think of things that would annoy the crap out of you in another partner. | |

The input is interesting because for some people, there are a few specific acts they don't like during sex. For others, it's a much broader range of dislikes.
