| Take THAT Michigan!! Love , John McCain Posted: 10/2/2008 2:09:37 PM | | McCain punked the Republicans here in Michigan....he is taking all of his resources out of Michigan because he has been told that he will not win in Michigan. Does this effect your vote?...........................................or are you voting? | |
|
| Take THAT Michigan!! Love , John McCain Posted: 10/2/2008 3:03:04 PM | Is there a 'none of the above' option on the ticket? LOL?
In general, it seems the economy has always done better under Democrats.....foreign policy under Republicans......at least, historically, till the present administration......
I don't think Obama knows what he is in for, I would ALMOST rather see Hilary in the driver's seat.....OK, that gives me nausea, too.......
I consider myself a Republican.......but may just have to vote Democratic this time.......and may the dear Lord protect and keep us.......

| Take THAT Michigan!! Love , John McCain Posted: 10/2/2008 6:41:13 PM | Ya know, I've helped with voter registrations this year. All I can say is, after watching them struggle with a simple thing like "your name here" or even where they live, we're lucky people can even vote. Nevermind for what party. | |

| Take THAT Michigan!! Love , John McCain Posted: 10/4/2008 11:55:41 PM | | Well my first choice would be Ron Paul from Texas...failing that I have to go with McCain in the hopes he becomes disabled and Sarah can take over ...at least she is not a professional politician and probably would have the best interests in the common people not like the **stards for the past fifty years... | |

| Take THAT Michigan!! Love , John McCain Posted: 10/5/2008 7:38:28 AM | I am one of the uncommitted.....story of my life...lol....
McCain has been taking medications for TSD...(Traumatic Stress Disorder) from his POW days. Much like Reagan in his early stages of Alzheimer's disease while he is in presidency....I find that there will be members of government that will be running the country under the table while the president is just a cover.
Obama...He was abandoned by his mother and father...took drugs in his college years....was manipulated by a anti white church who fed their parishoners hatred for THE MAN. You can't beat THE MAN....if you have not been in HIS shoes...once you have been in his shoes..........you know you can beat them by changing.......the beat of america. He can be manipulated............that is what is scary about the whole thing.

| Take THAT Michigan!! Love , John McCain Posted: 10/5/2008 7:58:57 AM | Interesting that even though McCain 'gave up' on this state, it seems most of the posters are intending on voting for him RATHER than Obama........ Maybe Obama doesn't have us locked in! Would love to hear how more of you intend to vote.....
We can then turn our POF poll over to the News......we are a VERY powerful voting block!

| Take THAT Michigan!! Love , John McCain Posted: 10/5/2008 8:23:30 AM | | Well I am republican but I do not hear ANY that is of substance coming from mccain. We need leadership and someone who can focus. That just isn't mccain and/or palin. I had trouble understanding where a sentence finished for either mccain or palin. I don't understand how anyone could like the guys who can't even speak english. | |
|
| Take THAT Michigan!! Love , John McCain Posted: 10/5/2008 8:54:27 AM | After watching McCain and Palin's performances in the debates and recent interviews, I cannot believe that any intelligent person would still take these two seriously.
When McCain and Obama were selected as their parties' candidates, I actually thought that we were finally going to get an election where I could feel confident with either candidate winning. During the course of the campaign it has become clear that McCain is not the same person he once was, as a matter of fact it is like watching him age before our very eyes!
And how anyone can say Palin's complete lack of experience is comparable with Obama is beyond me. She has a BA in journalism from Idaho State, he is a Harvard-degreed lawyer whose area of concentration was Constituional Law!
Don't get your information from tv commercials and 30 second sound bites. Don't get your information from either campaign. And above all else, do not confuse these opinion shows with actual reporting, these guys ALL have their own agenda. There are non-partisan groups out there who gather the facts for you, and then it is up to you to make your own decision.

It has been said that a Democracy doesn't give the people the best government, but rather the government they deserve. Be smarter, deserve better, don't fall for it again!

Eric, just curious, ... and this will change how? (serious question)
There is a pattern here that is repeating itself. Things aren't going well, so I need to elect a Democrat to take care of me. All those entitlements are too good to pass up ...
Remember, there is no free lunch! And change up until now has been a scary word for those that understand it. No matter what your opinion of unions is, do you think it was an easy thing for the first labor organizers who sought to gain rights from the company? I think not.

| Take THAT Michigan!! Love , John McCain Posted: 10/5/2008 3:06:56 PM | Hmmmmmm...let's see. Under last Democratic President - unemployment was low, balanced budget, paying down deficit, not in an misguided war, our rights were still in tack....
Past 8 years of Republican control - $6 trillion added to deficit, housing collapse, Iraq war, Patriotic act, unemployment 9% in Michigan....
Obama/Biden...is there any doubt!
|
| Take THAT Michigan!! Love , John McCain Posted: 10/5/2008 3:25:11 PM | sady i can make a statement that just doesn't seem right.
if obama was not black, i do not believe there would be any competition from the republicans. so racism is the only reason we are teetering on the break with a possible mccain victory.
|
| Take THAT Michigan!! Love , John McCain Posted: 10/5/2008 6:20:16 PM | Nothing to feel bad about saying...it's all over the news about people who agree with Obama on the issues but will end up voting to McCain because Obama is black. That's why they say he needs to be up 6-8% in the polls, to cover the people who are for him but when they get in the voting booth can't pull the lever because he is black.
Sad, so sad! | |
|
| Take THAT Michigan!! Love , John McCain Posted: 10/5/2008 8:16:39 PM | Sad but true regarding the racism in this country. There would never been any real doubt about Obama's qualifications for president were it not for race.
We've had an idiot for president for the past eight years. Are any of you better off?

| Take THAT Michigan!! Love , John McCain Posted: 10/6/2008 3:26:31 AM | | McCain is a shill for the Republicans, Obama a shill for the Democrats. I see no real change in the direction our country is going from either of them as they both will end up towing their party line. We need someone who will think and act independently and gain cooperation from both sides of the aisle. Of course there is a great deal of bias in my opinion towards both of them since the bailout was passed. I may end up writing in a 3rd party candidate for the first time with the hope that many more of my fellow Americans will do the same. The write in candidates will not win, but if enough people do it, it will send a loud clear message to Washington that ‘We the People’ are sick of business as usual. | |

| Take THAT Michigan!! Love , John McCain Posted: 10/6/2008 6:58:38 AM | | every election is the same...promises promises but no delivery...they "all" say what they think you want to hear...the president can offer up a bill, doesn't mean it will pass through congress though...my decision to vote mccain is not based on racism...i believe that the head of our country should at the very least be patriotic and christian...obama is neither | |

| Take THAT Michigan!! Love , John McCain Posted: 10/6/2008 12:49:13 PM | wow, just heard from ANOTHER friend that she is losing her house. she did an ARM on her home a few years back, and with the taxes being raised a few times, and the huge ARM due, her payment is $1,943 per month. the bank will not work with her. nice. and the reason they won't work with her is she LOST HER JOB. no job, no house. she lost the job, the ARM is due, and along with all her other mounting bills and kids, she's forced to move in with her brother. last week she sent out 43 resumes. the months preceding that, it's hundreds......to no avail. this is a hard working gal.....dear, god, let's pray things can turn around

| Take THAT Michigan!! Love , John McCain Posted: 10/6/2008 1:03:38 PM | Yes...as an independent I've noticed how much better off our state of Michigan has been under our democratic Govenor Granholm. We're doing beautifully...taxes are down, jobs are up...all is wonderful in our little state isn't it? What a wonderful future we all have here in Michigan under a democrate...Pfffft! And before anyone says it's Engler's fault...how long can that card be used? I'm sick of both parties! BILL COSBY FOR PRESIDENT PLEASE! | |
