winds this weekend, forecasters have warned.
More than an inch of rain was predicted to hit the North West today
— while coastal areas would be hit by 40mph gusts.
Tomorrow the winds and heavy rain will move south through
the Midlands and East Anglia, easing up and getting warmer by Monday.
Met Office forecaster Barry Grommet said yesterday:
“It looks pretty unsettled through next week as well.
“We have definitely moved away from the settled weather in September.”
Just thought I would cheer everyone up with some good news..........
My question is do we have nothing but long cold lonely winter nights ahead to look forward too?

Posted: 10/4/2008 9:58:29 AM | Now i'm glad I made my son come home early from town. I'm much happier knowing he is safe and sound out of that nasty weather.
I quite like the winter months. As a child it used to make me feel more grown up coming out of guides in the dark lol and as an adult it makes me want to curl up in a blanket and fall asleep earlier, so it is cheaper in that respect, although more expensive fuel wise. Still least this year I have worked out how the thermastat works and don't have to have it all on full blast in every room lol.
I still had a lovely dry and warm evening on my September birthday and so did my son, so I'm not ready to say that it is a seasonal change in the weather yet. | |

I actually quite like being snuggled up inside, I could quite happily be a hermit in the winter!

No dating for me until the winter is gone !
Oh, BTW I heard there are some lamps which give you feeling of the sunlight if you suffer from that winter blues problems.. I think I might be suffering from that..

Not to mention my sister is right now on a beach in Dubai :(

I think more people are going to suffer from depression this coming winter because we have not had much of a summer. Also the economy is going to make people struggle more.
