| What's your Halloween costume this year? Posted: 10/4/2008 4:34:19 PM | I decided to have some fun with this thread! So, have you decided upon your Halloween costume this year, and what's it going to be?
I was considering the Sarah Palin look... I was also VERY seriously considering Catwoman as in the 1960's Batman show, but I don't think I can do the tights very well any more! So, I changed my mind and I'm now going to dress up as a gothic vampiress, complete with fangs. Watch out!

Is that a shot of you and a look-alike Mrs. Clinton on your profile? Dunno if the mummy costume, the pervert doc, or perhaps a mad scientist is the way to go this year. Taking the kid out....hmmm...perhaps a bum with an empty beer box...."Trick or treat!". (Did that one year and got home with a full box of beer!)

I had to dress when I got to the party, but what a blast. Quite a few guys had quite a time busting my balloons with their cigarettes.
Easy costume really but a bit time consuming. All you have to do is blow up a "bunch" (no pun intended) of purple ballons. After you knot them, sew the knotted ends onto a one piece leotard. I cut out some green felt in the shape of leaves, sewed them around the neckline and made a mask for myself of same.
I didn't even mind the popping toward the end of the night

I'll make the tree out of felt, use decorations from the dollar store, and wear brown narrow-legged corduroy pants for the legs. Maybe I'll wrap some shoe boxes to fit over my shoes too.
Won't tell you what my original idea was....tee hee!!

Either that or I'll go with Dumbledorr since my wife has a "Harry Potter" outfit.

Hey, thanks, yna6 -- maybe I still could do Catwoman...! Yep, that's "Hillary" and me just hangin' out...(actually, a cutout! That was at a conference and you could have your photo taken with Hillary, Obama, McCain, and a host of others. That was back in January, though, before Sarah!)
What great ideas here! We dress up for Halloween at my workplace, so that's why I was interested in knowing what others were doing.
I shall sharpen my fangs for my Gothic Vampira look, and some poor unwary cute guy might get his neck bitten...

Belt with a bat clip. Hair clip in the shape of a bat. Stand up collar. Custom fit fangs that look realistic. Black Mary Janes with fishnet stockings. Dark nail polish. Dark purple and pink eye shadow to accent green eyes. Dark hair pulled up in an up do with a few strands left around the face in a light curl.
It's going to be gorgeous ;)

One year when I forgot a costume I quickly put some cotton balls on a hat and when someone asked me what i was I pulled out a small squirt gun and said "cloudy with a chance of showers". That went over less well :-P
This year I havent quite decided yet. I have wanted to try going as the easter bunny or something and see what people say.

| What's your Halloween costume this year? Posted: 10/5/2008 11:14:25 AM | I have a few different options and I have yet to decide. I have been wanting to wear a red bull outfit and do shots a Jagermeister all night so I can be considered a jagerbomb. Last night I was invited to a halloween party that is going to be themed as 30's style gangsters. All in all, I am sure that I will be going out as a drunken sailor Being in the Navy, I can't really help it LOL. | |

My outfit last night ended up consisting of empty cases of Miller High Life. Now I guess I am going to be covered LOL. "A tasty beer at a tasty price"

A gypsy palm reader ~ that's what i am every year.
Very nice! I actually did that for a few Halloweens, except I did handwriting analysis instead. I couldn't believe the number of people who wanted a "reading"...and then got scared that I would be analyzing their handwriting ALL the time.
Hmmm. Maybe that explains the rise in E-mails I started getting instead...

YNA6 - You could always go as a condom...how could they argue with that, LOL.
