Posted: 11/2/2008 1:25:37 AM | What a great time we all had dancing to 2 bands, meeting up with old friends and admiring the gorgeous costumes. Our own PINK received first prize of $ 100.00 for her Sheriff outfit and a fine one she made. 2nd prize $ 75 went to the Magician 3rd prize of $ 50.00 to the Caveman, we all admired his legs and 4th prize $ 25.00 went to the pink Saloon lady.The POF table with 10 dwarfs was a lovely sight as well.
Thank you all for coming out to this event, thanks to my co-hosts newbutterfly and bigandtalldancer, it is always a pleasure working with you and a special thank you to sweetandsassy for supplying us with the best fresh bags of potato chips.A special thank you to our never tiring photographer..Carl lingus69

Posted: 11/2/2008 8:45:28 AM | I like to thank every body for making this evening the best one ever( I think) and thanks for voting for me, to recieve 3rd price for the Caveman suite.
To make this costume did not came easy, specialy for a construction guy.
I bod this furry peace of fabric to make this caveman suite, wel I tell you...what a pain in the a.. that is, first I was using the sewing machine but the needle broke, wel can't use ductape, so I got the hot glue gun out the shop, so now I'm gluing the seems and hems.
But when you cut this furry stuff it's all over the place, so you get glue on your hands( damn hot) pressing down the fabric, your fingers are stuck to the fabric, so now I have all this furry sh.. on my fingers. But after a couple of hours of frustration and swearing it did fit, and hoping that the costume was not falling apart. | |

Congratulations to all the prize winners. BigBlue401 ---when you think of it, constructing a home is somewhat like constructing a costume, not that I‘m suggesting, if you can sew you can build a home! You did an excellent job!
Thank you Sweet and Sassy for your POTATO CHIP DONATION for ALL the tables. Wow! You have no idea how much that was appreciated. 
To our faithful photographer Carl lingus69, thank you again so much, … you are always there to help and your loyalty never goes unnoticed. Come to think of it…I don’t think that YOU WENT UNNOTICED either with all that reflector tape and flashing lights. Good job!
And lastly, thank you to everyone that came and I hope that you enjoyed the evening as much as we did. | |

I had so much fun last night... It Was a crowded house - but still room to dance on the dance floor whooo hooo!!!...and the costumes - They were fabulous!!!!!!!!!

Most people don't realize just how much work goes into events of this calibre.
Billy and his people arrange the Bands, the venues, the door prizes, decorations, food and drink, not to mention the service, security and so many other things. He also takes the risks if it doesn't work.

Were fantastic and the addition of THE EPICS, made it a night to remember!

THANK YOU BILLY FOR PROVIDING THE GENEROUS CASH PRIZES AT THIS FABULOUS EVENT.
Thanks to Bigandtalldancer for his post, and yes a big amount of time and effort goes into the making of a successfull evening. I know nubutterfly, Carl Lingus69 and I (despite recovering from 2 broken ribs) pitched in at the last minute and a busy 1 1/2 hrs it was.
KUDOS to Billy Dixon for another successfull event
