| How many times have you been "in love"?
Posted: 6/18/2005 4:43:28 PM | I was just reading a magazine that surveyed men and they said that on average, in a lifetime, men have been "in love" 6 times. That surprised me but hey, that's hopeful right? And I would think it's the same for women.

oh sure. Love is a risky business but if we don't risk, we risk even more.

Posted: 6/18/2005 5:25:02 PM | __Being french I probably fall in love daily and that is seldom with the same lady. But "deep everlasting curl your toes loose all sanity" kind of love, maybe twice. A month. Seriously once only but I am always on the lookout for number two, three, four, five and six. Eh, you only live once.

Sexual attraction, the hunger for money that isn't yours (greed), feeling degraded because you are all alone and feel like everyone else has a soulmate. Those are the 3 most common reasons that "love" is even brought into the story. I'm not saying that true love will never happen, I'm just saying I can't afford anymore of these girls who just want to be spoiled and made felt good at any cost. Love is a 2 way street, and more and more people are forgetting that. | |

Posted: 6/18/2005 6:00:49 PM | Can I ask something: Isn't part of the definition of "love" as being never ending? If that's the case, can you really be "in love" (I'm assuming we're speaking in a romantic sense) more than once?If it failed, was it really love? I say no. | |
