KFC chicken dinner tonight with mashed potatoes and cole slaw! I'm kind of afraid to try some of the new things in these places. What are your favorite fast food places and your favorite meals?

| Favorite fast food place and what's best to eat Posted: 11/7/2008 4:29:49 PM | SushiQ ~ California Rolls
Wendy's ~ Mandarin Chicken Salad or Taco Salad
Bento ~ Chicken Teriyaki
We have a local chip stand that has a line up from about 11:00 am through to 8:00 pm... their burgers are so juicy they drip and their gravy should be patented...
Then there's the great French Canadian favourite... Poutine.

Other than that: Subway - veggie sub.

| Favorite fast food place and what's best to eat Posted: 11/7/2008 6:47:14 PM | Five Guys - burgers and fries. They're supposedly Zagat rated. Subway - I usually get the Club or Cold Cut. Most of the other sandwiches is mostly bread. Quiznos - Their prime rib and Angus Steak sandwiches are pretty good. Actually, I like all of their sandwiches. Roy Rogers - their roast beef sandwiches are the real deal. Not like the processed stuff at Arby's. | |

Right in the frig after going to the grocery store, loading it up, and all I have to do is grab what I want from it.... So easy and fast, and best part is, I can do it with my jammies on without ever leaving the house.........

Any place that makes great Donairs and Falafel with Tahinni
Mmm...Donairs. I keep forgetting about them. That's a great idea, actually. Except I'd have to make them - no place around here.
Just in time to run out to hunt for food...

What is a Donair and a Falafel and Tahinni? lol
Donair is sortof-kinda like a gyro, almost...different sauce. Tahini is sauce made with sesame seeds. Falafel is like a round fried ball of mashed garbanzos, spiced (or fava bean). You can get all the fixin's at Safeway. They have a falafel mix, tahini mix or jarred, and use the gyros mix from Mediterranean brand - in the specialty foods aisle or where the olives are, I forget. Look for small white boxes with labeling on it. Don't forget pita bread. Use ground beef for doniar or ground lamb for gyros.

| Favorite fast food place and what's best to eat Posted: 11/8/2008 6:32:23 AM | I love diners. The booths, the ambience, waving to the other regulars. Warning: when eating in a diner order the plainest food possible. When they try to get fancy it is usually a disaster. | |
