Lesbian Attraction?
Posted: 11/9/2008 1:44:16 AM
So I (like a lot of people) am really self conscious and I have my good days where I think I'm the hottest thing this side of the Atlantic, then I have my bad days where I wake up and immediately stick a paper bag over my head and walk around in the biggest clothes I can hide behind.
However, most days I'm in a sort of limbo where I could really... go either way. So now I suppose my question is and it's one I should really know the answer too already, but don't, is like... what attracts a woman to another woman? For lack of a better way to phrase that at 5:43am.
How does one be appealing, when they haven't got a clue as to what they're supposed to be appealing too?

I think you're being a little too general. Kind of like asking what attracts a straight guy? It's a pretty broad pool. What kind of lesbian are you looking for? More of a "lipstick" lesbian, or a more manly type? I dunno what would attract them, but I think you might have better luck if you decide what type of person you are looking to attract...not just "lesbian".

I meant women/lesbians in general.
I just... worded it way wrong. ^^;
Like, I was just wondering what a girl finds attractive in another girl.

Maybe similar "things" as a guy finds attractive in a "girl"?

I think 'qualities' get represented across the board, whether its a boy/boy, girl/boy or girl/girl relationship. I really don't think it changes when or if you change which sex you're interested in persuing. So look at the qualities you enough in a human, and you'll surely figure it out.

Hang on here!

You're confusing the words "attraction" and "appealing". Tho very similiar, they are very different.

"Attraction", to me, is defined by an attitude more than looks. As in, "OMG, she's flipping HOT!!!"

"Appealing" would be like a puppy, or eye candy you wouldn't do anything about.

I think you should work on your sexy, fun attitude. People are always drawn to both!

This black girl that had attraction to my mother all she did was stair at mom for the longest of times until her friends came along and she pointed mom out to her friends so a hour latter she walked up to mom as mom was laying on her towel with her friends and asked mom how old she was and where she lived.

a little extra padding, whether it be muscle or "fluff"
nice hair, could be any of a variety of lengths
darker/larger/prominent facial features
sensibly-dressed and looks comfortable in her clothes
not either stone butch or extremely frilly femme
cuddly, affectionate, gentle look to her face and posture
absolute sucker for a picture of an adorable woman with her pet, or on a beach looking relaxed

I think whether you're lesbian, hetero or pansexual, there is one thing that seems to attract us to people and that is their interest in US! Sometimes we have to work with more than just appearances. This is where we get a chance to shine and demonstrate an interest in them and see if they find a mutual interest in us too. And if it doesn't go anywhere, you haven't lost anything. Instead you have ventured into a place you simply got an opportunity to enjoy the view of for a time and maybe make an acquaintance that will later bring dividends.

Sex,

Gays surprisingly are WAY more up front about it than straight people, have less reservations about being involved sexually before a relationship developes, and are usually more open minded about a lot of things.

Well I mostly got a question to ask that might be disturbing for some.

When I was younger about 9 years old my be older abut 10 or 11.
My mother use to take me and my sister to the beach.

This one that I noticed another women was stairing at mom in her bikini for a long period of time for about 15 min to a ahour.

Is this lesbian attraction

I think what I find sexiest in women is when they are comfortable in expressing the masculine side of themselves.
For instance, a woman who is still feminine, but does a job like carpentry or welding or construction. Or a good looking woman who lifts weights and isn't afraid to put on some muscle...or a really very pretty woman who has a deep, raspy voice.
I think I just like someone with balance...who can be both feminine and masculine at the same time and be comfortable doing both? Someone who is open to being sweet, sexy, and compassionate...but also strong, firm, and in control....and have the two cross over.
Do not tell me that the image of a really fine woman building something or fixing a car does not turn you on? Or is it just me?

Very Interesting question! It's sad that Lesbian almost has the connotation of alien or something! It is Quite natural, as I understand it, for women, that is. I heard it described like this. Men are usually at one or the other end of the spectrum of sexual orientation, but women tend to be in the middle. Their door, can go BOTH ways quite easily!

Maybe, I'm wrong, but I think a woman's taste in another woman, often conflicts with her strong sense of competition for that woman! It can be a most interesting quandary!

Ya know.. Let me know when you find out. I've been trying to attract lesbians for years. I traveled to Syria, Egypt, even went to Israel.. Never got any lesbians to go for me. I mean.. just cause I didnt go to their country.. I thought that the lesbians had emigrated to other countries to get away from the conflict.. I guess I was wrong.

Now.. I want to meet some ASSyrians.. THEY sound sexy. Nothing like a sexy ASSyrian in your face to make you want one. Ya know?

I don't know...some lesbians do have it in them. I work with a lesbian and sometimes I have to wonder to myself....like I purposely dropped a text book one time and asked her to pick it up for me (its on her side, and there's a table in-front of me, hence can't reach) and she bent over and I thought, ayyy caramba, that's one sweet ass right there....she looked at me funny Pedrrrrrrrrrrrro stop it!!!!...then one time she was looking for her pass which I hid in my crotch....yep we have a mature work environment...she looks at me, red faced and shook her head.

I don't know...must be how that 9mm Browning is hanging off her thighs, the way she carries herself, the times I caught her picking her nose and when she saw me thought nothing of it, those piercing green eyes and no-bullshit, no way in hell she's gonna flirt around other dudes. Yep cool chick....if only she bats for the other team.

The thing is, she travels every weekend to meet mystery women over the internet...I mean she is very attractive even with that short manly hair. I should pretend to be a lesbian and disguise my Woody Woodpecker as a strap on...just to see the quality of lesbian loving women out there.

People look attractive when they are themselves without pretension, it is always therefore an example of a unique individual and interesting at worst. It has nothing to do with sexuality or technique. Entitlements and presumptions would be the pretension I was talking about.

But then the same person looks totally different to different people, less or more honest, less or more unique and individual. Just don't try to be "you" on purpose, be "you" accidentally is always best. Otherwise go for salesmanship but I think satisfying greed a poor substitute for human relationships.

I was propositioned by a female teacher from the college where I teach. She found my feminine dress appealing and I guess she liked the rest of me, too.

However, I found her highly unappealing because of her mannish dress and her general unattractiveness. People who dress slovenly or don't try to make themselves presentable are just not attractive to me, male or female.

So, what attracts one woman to another is going to vary from person to person--just like in heterosexual attractions.

I say this women was intressted in your mother if she asked your mom her age and were your mother lived and if she was wacthing your mother laying down on her towel
for hours.

But if she pointed your mom out to her friends to see I say that this women wanted to have your mother for a bit.

But I think that YOU YOUR SELF might have had a problem with it because this women who asked your mother into sex was BLACK.
