Posted: 11/12/2008 8:20:06 PM | Hi everyone, it's been a while since the last event and no one else has planned one... so I decided to take it on myself to host another POF party!
I'm new at this so bare with me.lol. If anyone is interested in helping it would be greatly apperciated.
It's going to be held at the Bella Vista starting at 9:00pm November 21/08. If anyone has any questions about choice of venue or details that can't be covered on the rest of the thread please contact me xoxobigmommaxoxo.
BTW, everyone, the invite in the inboxes only goes out to a certain area around St. John's because of the way the system is set up so if you know of any POF'ers from out around the bay who might like to attend please let them know.

Posted: 11/13/2008 1:27:38 PM | Hi everyone I have been to several of these parties back in Halifax and had a great time ,,,,, 99% of the people who were there were there for the same reason ,,,,, to hopefully meet there soulmate and in some cases they did ,,,,, but in most cases you will find that you will make plenty of new friends,,,,,,, I am no John Trovolta but I do like to dance.

Posted: 11/13/2008 5:37:23 PM | Hey there!! First of all i have to say congrats to xoxobiqmommaxoxo for taking the anicative to get this thing happening. I attended one of these things out west and had a ball. They are a monthly thing out there in edmonton. I did not meet the one but I did meet some awsome friends there. There is actually a group out there that met off POF and they hang out together and do stuff like going for wings in the week. This is actually a great way to meet new people, if your new to town. Maybe we can get a group together from this area or parts of the Island. Also I have to say that Johnathen Young and the Staff are great host. They do a awsome Kareokee show down stair's in Stanley Steamers. Looking forword to this!!

Gezz, what do you do when you had a relationship with someone on this site and wish to participate in these things?
Anyone have any advice?

This is a great job that you are doing and keep up the good job,,,,,but what I am finding from chatting with some of my friends that hear on POF they do not see the post ,,,, I guess it is because they have not seen any of these dances before and it is a pitty if we all do not explain to the all about the dance and how much fun they are,,,, and to all those who would like to attend please come you will have a great time ,

some people have been asking if you had to buy tickets or if there's any cover. There will be a $5 cover at the door and there will be door prizes as well. The bar will be puting up a few door prizes(ie:bar tabs,hats,shirts,ect.) Hope to see you guys there!!!
