Posted: 6/19/2005 8:46:47 PM | This thread is for those who've given up or are about to leave the dating sites...or better yet the dating scene in general....I know that it's hard to look for that elusive love...I should know..I've been looking for 5 long yrs..and yet I am still here and fighting the good fight...Despite the setbacks and the games and other hurdles I remain true to my goal..find 'Her'...It's not easy at times and still, I am here...I've heard all the horror stories and the success stories..One coud get the same results if you were at a bar or other venues..but the end result would be success or failure....it's up to each of us to discover our strengths and limitations...ultimately you decide whether you stay or go...to love or not to love...you never know until you hope.
How can you succeed if you haven't tried. | |

Posted: 6/19/2005 10:49:43 PM | Anlachok, I've been looking for the "right one" for 25 yrs, have found several who I thought were, but was dead wrong. I have tried many of the "personal" sites, but for some reason, I am still here, looking at forums at 1:00 am, wondering how long ago did my soul mate die. You say some insperational words, but for me, all I hope to find anymore is maybe a friend or two, since the pond around here must have winter killed.
BTW....didn't your mom ever tell you not to say four letter words..... like work, snow, rain, love....ect........lol.....j/k

Think of it this way: even if things don't work out you hopefully learn from the experience. I 've learned tons about women I didnt' end up likign or who I got burnt by in some way. AT least the had a use... it's better than being useless. | |
