Everything in life is replacable except a soul mate! I would move to the ends of the earth in order to be by mine! You better believe it. I can get a new job, and frankly put that is the only other thing on earth that would matter!

If it's our soul mate, nothing would stop us. I agree.

I was just saying that I tend to dislike this state for a myriad of reasons. Not really pertinent to the question, but I really don't like this state. In any case, she just hit the nail on the head, methinks.

gangrel is a police officer, i wonder if that has something to do with him not liking kentucky. Just wondering why he thinks kentucky is in london. He'll never make detective with that kind of police work....joking

If i did'nt have daughters that loved the area and did'nt want to relocate...YES by all means i'd relocate. I guess it depends upon one's circumstances

I know you were joking.

Former police officer. I'm a rent-a-cop.

I've lived in seven different states spanning both oceans, as well as one other country (Saudi, although I visited Iraq once...with a tank). And the major difference I've noticed is that KY seems to thrive on the rumor tree. If they don't know you, they'll make it up and spread it around. Twice if they know you.

There are states wherein the tradition of "I don't know, therefore I won't comment" is the rule. I like those states. I'm just here because this is where my children and my job are located.

I have two children. Both girls; Samantha and Tabitha, 10 and 8 respectively. They are in Lexington. It is, then, within my purview that I stay close to this state, although not within it. I will not put myself in a position that takes me away from my kids, of course.

But true love...soulmates...will wait for the circumstances to be right for meeting.

Because that's what soulmates do, I think. We love unbounded, taking into account our soulmates needs.

She's right, of course. Even soulmates have circumstances that keep them apart.

...for a while.

Relocating should be only a small step if you meet the one that's truly right for you.

Sure why the hell not. I was making plans to move to bumscrew central new york state with my ex quite a long time ago, but that crashed and burned when our relationship did the same. Since then I've considered it a rare few times, with a rare few people, but nothing has come of it. Anything is possible.

To people considering though, I say go for it.. new experiences are great. If the relationship doesn't last, you have at least taken strides to introduce change into your comfortable existance, and that builds confidence and character and all of that boring stuff.

I did that...gave up carreer, home, family, and moved here to raise kids and tomatoes! * years later....alone.....wow....can't speak the language well, so job ops are very low! Sure, I work...at something I never did before, and not much money in it. BUT...someone else relocated here for me and I hope to make it good for her! Sure...we have our troubles too....but we ARE making a stab at it!
Relocating? Sure...its an adventure!

I would consider relocating but I would have to very sure he was the right man.

And I LOVE KENTUCKY (just to stick up for my favourite state so far!) :)

Meouuuuuuuuuu good question.

If I met a good ginger tom and after a solid friendship first... I would move boulders and even learn to swim oceans and maybe climb mountains or go bush for that person...

And if it did not work out then thats life's journeys... you open a new door and realize I have done something I have never done before I left the comfort of my safe zone and saw many new countries to explore....

Once and a while you need to "Jump out of your safe zone" then pick up your jaws and open your eyes to experience.

One drunk Cat looking for new home for kittens... lol
Must have litter tray ready.
I dont ruin furniture I love my owners.... scratch scratch.
Just supply the vet shots if you want me over seas lol.

lol
I always heard the cat stays when the people move to a new home?

Both Silken & Karra:
You want to move if you're sure you've met the right man (the right vet).

I think everybody would move when you're 100% sure you finaly encounter your soulmate for the lifetime.

But it never is 100% and the duration is seldom a lifetime.

Well, I'm gonna purrrrr me a glass of french cognac (against doctor's advice) and drink to the health of all you travelers.

Cheers
Tom

Forthebeauty why do you feel that way? I've been down to Kentucky 9 times and I've always been impressed by how nice the people are and how beautiful the state is. What am I missing? :)

I feel that way because of the people. just like the dude said in an earlier post. They are always in ur business and if they know u its even worse. I am proud of where I come from, but it is not an advanced place. The people here want everything to stay the same, no change! It is a very nice place to raise kids, very low crime rate, and it helps that u know everyone, but as far a making a life here, at least in my area , its very difficult!!! so there is my reason along with a few more!!!!!!

Sorry to highjack the post!!!!!
