You both went to a lot of work and it was appreciated
Was too bad that they weren't prepared for us and the wait times to get a drink were long - was also a bit disappointed in the fact that the DD's were supposed to get free softdrinks, but that wasnt the case..I don't mind paying for the pop my DD drinks when she comes with me but if the bar says it will be free it should be free ...not your fault by any means and it didnt take away from the fun i had.
Btw...you both looked awesome

And a special thankyou to those that sat at the registration table and limited their time for circulating in the throng of fishies. The place was packed with PoFers.
I know that a couple of the attendees did not enjoy the evening, but the mass majority did. My apologies to the DD's and the drinks. it was my understanding you were to buy one and then the rest were free. They had 3 waitresses call in sick that night, and the person to whom I gave the number of 250 attending, wrote down 150!!
Not everyone registered, but with the way the bar had our tags from one end to the other, it was well attended!!
Again, thanks for the oppourtunity you all gave for meeting you. I should have met more of you, but I got kinda busy from 10:15 to 1:00.
I had a great time, and thankyou mon cherie for being such a great hostess!! | |

GOD DO I LOOK THAT MISERABLE ???? LOL.
i think i have spent to many years in the military standing in corners watching my surroundings lol
actually this was my FIRST SOCIAL OUTING IN 7.5 YRS,
ive been a workaholic, anti social kind of guy due to my circumstances.
it sure looked like everyone was having a great time and people i didnt know would offer me a drink i think it was more to do with the fact i was wearing a tie with PINK in it than anything else lol, but i was my friends DD, so i got the coffee detail which was fine.
anyway to the organizers and the volunteers who did all the work for the event well done although im pretty anti-social i would consider attending one of your events again although when you see me standing there being miserable looking for nut jobs in all the corners PLEASE PLEASE come up and say hi lol im the shy type.
i hope everyone has a very safe and Merry Christmas

I found service at the bar way faster than most places I've attended. I was drinking orange juice and they didn't charge me at all when I told them I was a designated driver.
Thanks a bunch Santa and Santa's "biatch" for throwing this party!
So glad the cake survived - nice catch Diesel!!!

I had a great time. Met lots of people and danced with all of the men I had promised I would, and a few that just asked me. But I still don't know how to two step!! Now had the music been a little more diverse I wouldn't have been able to walk the next day. Kutoed to the Bar and staff, they took fantastic care of us!! A special thank you goes out to all the men that dressed for the occation!! I personaly enjoy a well dressed man that smells good too!!

I made it a point to go around and introduce myself to a lot of new people and chit chat a bit. It was really a great great time.
I think if you go to these sorts of events you need to make an effort to meet at least 3 new people - regardless of gender - and just relax and have fun. I know it's harder for the shyer amongst us, but if you go with an open mind and a bit of a brave heart - you'll have a wonderful time.
Thanks again for everything! It was so much super fun!

First, it was I who dragged Hung down there for the party and I don't think he's complaining about that one bit. But then again in him wanting to go, I got a chance to hang out with some old friends and new friends.
And for the first time in forever, I met new people. There are a few wonderful ladies I ran into that night, shared a game of pool with and almost had some drinks with but it was a first for me to step out of the usual shell I had at these things.
Duff and mon cherie - kudos, you did a great job! I am impressed and did you give old some losanges for hollaring out the numbers that night?
To the fellow table patrons at the centre - it was great hanging out with you that night and sharing some good times that lasted til...hmm, sunrise? I was too tired to remember.
I hope everyone else had a good time and to all of those that didn't have fun cause they didn't meet people they just have to get out there and do what Alluria did - just say hi. Or in my case, get offered a drink after three sentences. Sometimes by just saying hi, you never know what may happen... | |
