Posted: 12/15/2008 4:38:11 PM | Its my opinion you find out how decent or not a person is through communication. Actually, you should have a good 'gut' feeling of their decency as a human prior to deciding to meet. At least that's how I've gaged things. If I get on with them well via email and IM, and then on the phone the meet should be no problem.
However, if I show up and find out they are not at all what they had previously represented well then...there will never be another meeting. So, well then at least you found out right away.
As far as people that continue to perpitrate deciet and infidelity? I have NO IDEA. They obviously have no self respect or integrity to do such things. Regarding the crockodile tears upon departure for their disgusting behavior...well, its just another part of their pathetic manipulative behavior. Or so has been my experience.
All I can say to you is this...there are good women out there. Women who are truly REAL. That won't mess with your mind or your heart. Women that care about how they treat you because they would want to be treated with the same respect they provide. Don't let your bad past experience color your views and jade you toward all women. Not all of us are gold diggers, liars, or manipulative witches. Promise!!

Posted: 4/29/2009 9:39:32 AM | First of all be up front and tell the other person, not to expect anything right away, if your not committed at this time to be with someone exclusive, then let them know. Ask them what they want and are looking for. The way their tone of voice, body language, and eye contact is the key. Do you have your own boundaries, a list of things that you will not settle for less from anyone? Also, how do they react on a subject matter that your talking about. If she is only interested in your "financial" side, always be more interested in that than what your likes/dislikes are, red flag. If she talks about her ex's and the relationships and how they were the ones who done wrong and not her, another flag. As far as telling u they love you, and still cheat, well, if she tells you she loves you right away in the relationship, you know she lying. It takes a while to get to know someone first, to become friends to build some sort of solid foundation on. Learn by your own lifes' lessons, weed out what u liked especially disliked in your past relationships then go forth and it will all come together for u in the end. Good luck!! | |
