Posted: 1/3/2009 11:36:44 AM | This has been so much fun. I am going to continue with it every month if I can. This month we are going to be meeting at the Midnight Rodeo! I have recieved more than one request for a country western outing. Since this is not really my specialty, I am relying on advise from others. This place is large enough to accommodate us all and it has a large dance floor. Plus you can't beat the deals!!!

Price: 8:00 to 10:00 $3.00 after 10:00 $5.00
Specials: Buy a plastic 16 ounce cup of Coor's Light for $3.00, and all refills are only $.50. All domestic longnecks are $1.75; all well drinks are $1.75. You just can't beat the prices.
This is mainly a country western bar with a very good DJ, I am told. It is located near the corner of Glenstone and Sunshine here in Springfield. You can find it on the northwest corner - look for the big sign!!
It's going to be lots of fun! This time we will do name tags or bracelets so we can know who is with POF, and the section we are being given is larger than the one at Cartoons.

Also while I am here, I want to put in a note for next months event. I cannot post more than one event at a time. So I am letting you know a little more ahead of time one this one.
We will be going to the New Key Largo on Feb. 14th, Valentine's Day. Something for all of the singles out there!!! There will be decorations and finger foods. The Ballistics will be playing. They were a popular band here in Springfield and are having a reunion performance. One of our own members plays guitar for them, and we like to show him our support.
So don't forget, Valentine's Day at the New Key Largo!!

I have left some mini dachshunds, shih tzus, and one 6 month old male yorkie. They have never really been "kennel" dogs because we spoiled them all rotten. They are more like pets that are spoiled than anything else. Let me know thanks

I have a good friend who lives not far from Springfield who is single but rarely gets out and about and although I have told her about POF many times she has been too chicken to actually join but I am hoping by bringing her to the gathering she will meet some nice singles from the area and decide to actually get around to posting a profile of her own!
