Posted: 1/4/2009 3:32:38 PM | Please folks! I have been on a few dates from this site and another well known site (a paid one) and I don't feel that my profile or my pics scream, "I want to have sex with you right away and please do stick your hand down myshirt in Sbux!"
Am I doing soemthing wrong? I am accomplished educated, and well spoken. I don't dress "hootchy." What is it?
Will you all look at my profile and tell me if there is some egregious error I am making ? Or is everyone else having the same experience?
I am about ready to give up, grow old and be one of those ladies that lives alone with a million cats!

But seriously, OP: Just stick to what you want to do and meet in a public place. And don't fall for the "come sit in my car and talk" request. I promise you that all the guys are not as you described. My friend is on the same kind of roll as you are--they seem to cycle through!

When I moved (relocated because of job) here and found out the name of my hometown, my heart sank! I knew my kids would have a feild day with it! And right down the road there is a huge water tower that says "Seimens" on it....When my son was 14 he used to crack up each time we drove past it. | |

That does not excuse them being pigs at all! That is just rude and crude, and I have had many women complain to me how prevalent it is.
I can't believe that a man at our age would still act like in high school. I have no idea what they think they are getting, because I know the vast majority of women can't stand that approach.
That being said, I AM surprised how many women I have met bring up sexuality up very early in the conversation. Me, I go with the flow, and either talk about it or not. I am still surprised about the one who told me within 1/2 hour of meeting about her favorite vibrator and why it was her favorite!

Yeah, let them take care of their birds themselves. I have been to Hellem, but like Bethlehem a bit better and they are also neighbors. Town names can be such fun.
