| | Guys, Is It An Urban Myth Or Are Women With Tats "Easier" Than Women With None?Page 1 of 4 (1, 2, 3, 4) | We were all sitting around a table having some of the typical guy talk when a friend of mine spotted a girl who had a lower back tat. That's when he started on his rant about how in "his" and "other" men experiences, women who had tattoos, were more likely to sleep with you will little or no effort at all. While the women who had no tats were far more of a challenge.
I told him that was a pretty silly statement and that I have known women with tats that were harder to sleep with that the non tat girls. I told him that it is all a wash and that it really depends on the woman herself.
He then said that I was being silly for not seeing the truth that in front of me.
So Guys (and Women), Have you found that women with tats easier to sleep with than the women who have no tats at all? | |

The only thing a woman with a Tattoo proves, is that she likes tattoos... (and even then maybe not always - she may regret it afterwards...)
Anyone who tries to read more into it than that is a freaking idiot...
I agree with that. My buddy's an idiot when it comes to certain things and his tat theory is one for sure. | |

I will second that thought..and add that actually in my case I like cats, more then tattoos..so all my tattoos are cats.
I am no easier to sleep with then I was the first 32 yrs I didn't have any tattoos.
So yes OP your buddy is making a stupid generalization, it happens.
It is kind of amazing what some people do think though. | |

I have no tattoos by the way OP, but I know many people who do, and that's all it means, they like tattoos (or at least they did at some point in their lives).

There's nothing wrong with the art of expression. Tattoos can also be very symbolic. And why is it that every time a woman breaks into what is more of man's social standard, she's viewed as easy or sleazy? Back in the days, for a lady to smoke cigarettes, it was unattractive and unbecoming. But now that it's a universally accepted social standard, women smokers are not stigmatized as in the past. | |

If you are attractive to the women in the room with a tattoo, then yes, you will find them to be easy. If you are straight laced and uptight, you may find that, yes, they aren't so easy at all.
It would be nice if things like, "tramp stamps" (got that one from my boss' daughter, and the other women her age agreed) had any validity :) But we men have to go back to reading women's minds.... | |

That being said, again, I wouldn't know - tattoos are a turnoff for me and the more tattoos she has, the more I'd find her unattractive and not make an effort to talk to her. | |

Posted: 1/20/2009 5:51:15 AM | OP...let's look at this urban myth a little further - I love causation fallacies (yeah I'm a nerd)...it's something my 14 year old granddaughter and I just had a discussion about the other day (I'm trying to teach her (how) to use her noggin so she can be her own "myth" buster when her ol' grandma is not/no longer around...ya know?)
So...
The sun got up this morning.
I felt depressed when I got up this morning.
(Therefore) sun = depression
Most incarcerated people are/were smokers = (therefore) most smokers are/were/will be incarcerated.
Most sex trade workers are smokers = (therefore) most smokers are sex trade workers.
Most male FM radio DJs have deep gravely voices = (therefore) most deep gravelly voiced males are DJs.
All (most?) motorcycle gang members ride motorcycles (duh) = all motorcycle riders are gang members.
I could go on all day with those...aren't they fun?? 
Ah c'mon - fun for me = (therefore) fun for everyone...no?
