would like some constructive critique - though being poly may limit my responses I would like to make my profile as successful as I can . . . help :) I recognize my interests are not as common either. Apparently I am the only Female seeking female who loves marching bands (haha) Despite this I hope that I can improve the writing and presentation - maybe find someone who celebrates new and different things.

I think your profile is pretty good. The only minor thing I could point out, is that every paragraph starts with"I". That may seem small, but it will get pointed out sooner or later in this thread.

Excuse my ignorance...what does poly mean?

Honestly, I was going to say what you already seem to know. I think your profile is wonderful... but probably gets few responses because your eccentricity and what you're looking for.
I typically begin a lot of my sentences with "I" when I describe myself too... I don't see it as a problem but others might.
That dog is precious... but do you have any more pictures of yourself you could add?

Good luck!

okay, have made some changes - is this better?
also re "poly" - polyamorous/ polyfelity meaning I'm looking for more than one person in my life :) - was that not explained right in my profile or is it just an unfamiliar term?

I think it's a very good profile - you describe yourself well, and clearly state what you are looking for.

Two things I think could be tweaked:

Main Picture - I really like your current #6 to be your main. A head pic always drives more traffic (shows up better in the search thumbnails), and your direct look into the camera seems to capture your personality well.

First Date - turn this around. Don't challenge the reader to impress you - most people will find that too demanding. Instead - pick a scenario or two that YOU would find enjoyable as a first date. This is a perfect chance to paint a picture of why it would be fun to spend time with you. Entice the reader to want to know more.

Good luck!
