Posted: 2/6/2009 4:03:55 PM | Here they are. Taxi Driver playing on a Saturday night ( 2-21-09 ) at one of the hottest spots in Omaha.
Heres a good way of meeting new people and those that you have been talking to online.
Come on out to the Ozone Lounge Inside Anthony's at 7220 F street. Just south of I-80 off of 72nd street.
This band plays a real upbeat type of music. The Ozone lounge is a great place to meet folks. You can dress up or dress down for this event.
So don't miss out on a great nite of great music and Dancing.
I will be getting there about 7:30 to possibly try to save up a few tables. I'll be grabbing a bite to eat from their great menu, so for those that want to get there early can join me if you'd like. We always get a great turnout for these so come All and come early.
RSVP if you can or e-mail me and let me know you're coming so I can get a good head count for the wait Staff to get the Heads up on.
They are a great staff here so tip good and show them we are a great group to have here on a regular bases.
When you get there, Just ask the people at the main bar where the singles group are located, and they will show you the way. Otherwise look for me in my Boots and jeans or the group having the most fun.
So hope to see a great turnout on Saturday, Febr. 21st at the "Ozone".

Update (2-9-09 )..Look for me at the event wearing a brown LIFESAVING HEROS shirt from the Red Cross. Jeans and Boots of course. I may try to get a Balloon or two, Not sure what it Might be yet. Watch here for more imfo...!

Posted: 2/9/2009 8:33:44 AM | Lets hope we can get a better turnout at this event then the one we had at The Roughcut event.
Their was a nice handful of people that showed up and that was good.
I know the Weather was nice and new plans for alot had probably changed.
But this might be my last event that I may hold.
Omaha turnouts have been great in the past and I try to hold events to give us Omaha folks a place to meet others.
Unfortunately the numbers are down and folks have not been tipping the waitstaff very well.
Tony loves to have us there but I can't keep doing these if its not good for all involved.
Please let me know your thoughts on future events and if you will be trying to make this event.
Look for me to wear something that will get the people to where the party will be meeting.
Hope to see a good turnout for this one and get some feedback on more events.

that will get an event together and with all the folks that view
a Posting, most will pass it by.
We need to get alot more DO'ers and take advantage of these events.
Their has been some real good ones in the past. But folks, If you don't
take advantage of some local events, then you'll be losing out at meeting
People in a safe and fun venues.
Look at the KC events and there are plenty. No reason to be passing
Our Omaha one's bye. So lets get out and see if we can show people
That their are people out there that want to see more events like the one's
I've posted in the past.
Look for me to post updates at the bottom of the event listing for what to look
for. And lets have a great turnout So I feel the urge to post more for everyone to have fun at.
