I am interested in contacting someone on match.com but for months her profile has indicated that she was last "Active over 3 weeks ago" which as I understand it is their highest level of inactivity. I also have a profile there but keep it hidden since I am not currently a subscriber and don’t see the point of opening it up for public viewing. I’m confused as to why she would have an active visible profile but never sign on. I know some of you will probably say it is a fake profile left there to lure in subscribers but this particular one is well written and specific and I just don’t buy it in this case. As I understand it if I subscribe, I’ll be able to send her an email and she will receive a notice that someone is trying to communicate but the system won’t tell her who it is from. Do I risk paying for a month and send her a message in the hopes that it compels her re-up so she can read it? Even though she won’t know who it is from, I could follow it with a wink which would lead her to my profile and hopefully she would put 2 and 2 together and realize both are from me. But I still don’t understand her having an open yet inactive profile. Can anyone else shed any light on the subject and perhaps a clever idea as to how to open the lines of communication?
