Probably another break down of the Dallas Cowboys! They need to get rid of Wade Phillips and get a coach with some toughness, they also need a true leader and until that happens the team with the most talent in the league will under achieve.

It looks like T.J. Houshmandzadeh won't be getting the franchise tag slapped on him after all which would make him a unrestricted free agent soon. A lot of talk as been going around as of late that he may end up wit the Eagles if McNabb hangs around. That would be a interesting to see.

Terrell Suggs and Ray Lewis are also free agents now and one of them will have to go. I see the Raven's letting go of Ray Lewis and keeping Bart Scott and Terrell Suggs. It would be interesting though if they do let go of Ray Lewis to see where he lands. I wouldn't be surprised if he goes to the Jets and hooks up with his former Defensive coach, now head coach of the the Jets, Rex Ryan.

Patriots will win it all. They always know how to re-load after a down year, plus Bill Belichick won two of his three Super Bowls in the following season AFTER missing the playoffs since he's been with New England.

I wouldn't be suprised to see Ray Lewis in New England. The suprise team will be the Chiefs. I just think that they have the right front office guy and Todd Haley will get the job done as coach. The Cowboys will make the playoffs, if they can avoid injuries. No Super Bowl until they can Phillips.

They could well be the Miami Dolphins of 2009. They were just in the playoffs 3 years ago, they have gotten a bunch of younger players, and they play in a weak division. First step- get that home field advantage back.

The Cards do need Warner, but they also need to develop Leinhart. I'll bet sitting and watching Warner has done wonders for him. They also need to get Boldin signed and get James replaced with a faster and more powerful running back.

Lions are going 10-6 this year!

LOL, who knows Miami was 1-15 in the 07 season then went 11-5 the next. But that would be funny if the Lions did indeed go 10-6 and then pull a Cardnials and go to the Superbowl. I think that would flip the NFL as we know it completely upside down if that happened.

jesus-freak Warner

This statement above is so uncalled for, especially from an alien believing freak

I wonder who JaC II will be rooting for, NY Nicks? hahahaha, he'll always go with the losers.

I root for my teams period no mater how they do. Losers you say Yeah Giants beat the Patsy's so who's the loser? Giants win their division after the SB the following year.
Giants had the best record going into the playoffs in the NFC and you say loser? You must be dyslectic.

Pats lose the SB and didn't even make the playoffs the following year so who's the loser earthdingaling?

So are you willing to bet a lot of money on that, that the lions will never have a chance to win a super bowl in your lifetime? Seems kind of a bold statement. You'll need to be on drugs when they do.

Ummm...excuse me guys...but the Dolphins had a great come back year with Pennington at the helm and I think this momentum will continue into the 2009 season...especially with Parcels decision to stay with the franchise! (this tell me alot about his committment to this team!) Could be worng...but the dream is there! Not any more far fetched than a few of the other teams mentioned!

Yeah well good luck with that seeing as Brady is coming back next season. So unless Brady gets injured again, I really don't see the Dolphines winning that division again.

The Dolphins schedule will get tougher and I also think that the Jets will be a little tougher with their new coach setting the defense. Brady's return is everything for the Patriots. I think that the Colts will tank and Manning doesn't have much left in the tank.

So what your saying steel is: Brady in Patriots win? Ever here of the term fear? What crosses his mind when he is in the game again? Would the thought of being hit hard slow him down? Will he come back 100%? To early to tell. The team changed since he was there. To me almost every team has a shot. Look at last year Cardinals representing the NFC? And who will the Jets pick up as QB since Favre is gone?

I don't think Brady is going to make nearly the difference that people think. If anything he'll probably go through a month of poor play much like Peyton Manning did this past year coming off injury. If he's like many QB's coming off injury (especially his knee) he's going to be more cautious as well.

It wouldn't surprise me in the least to see Miami win that division assuming this year's performance wasn't an amazing feat of the stars aligning. It's anybody's game. When a team goes 11 - 5 and doesn't even make the playoffs, nevermind their division, it's a telling sign you're in for a fight.

I'd bet Gruden takes a year off and then lands in Dallas or the Vikes. If I were Al Davis I would bring him back as soon as th 09 season is done. Cable won't do much as coach for the Raiders.

Gruden is the winningest coach in franchise history. You think he'd really be interested in Dallas? I'm thinking probably not!
