| Anyone interested in events in Lafayette, IN??? Posted: 2/12/2009 9:57:30 AM | Just trying to find out if there's any interest in attending an event in Lafayette, IN. I would be willing to host something, with some help of course, but need to find interested parties first. I'm working on figuring out all the details but... let me know your interest, please!! | |

| Anyone interested in events in Lafayette, IN??? Posted: 2/12/2009 11:51:49 PM | Sounds like a good idea to me. I went to one POF last August in Greenwood, met some nice people and had a good time. The down side of it was telling them I live 2 hours away. We could use a meet-n-greet in this part of the state. Tom | |

Need more details on organizing something... crissd, you've hosted events before... maybe the three of us (me, you and Chicago Mermaid) could meet for dinner or something soon. I'll send some contact information to both of you to get things started.
Thanks a bunch!! | |

| Anyone interested in events in Lafayette, IN??? Posted: 2/17/2009 4:46:09 PM | | And by the way, it does suck when you have to tell someone you live two hours away when you go to these parties BUT I have to say that the sweetest guy I have ever met lives 2 hours away and if you like someone you just make it work, you email and call during the week and see each other on the weekends when you can and it makes you cherish those weekends so much. "Wonderful" doesn't always happen right next door sometimes working for it is half the fun.... | |

| Anyone interested in events in Lafayette, IN??? Posted: 2/17/2009 6:04:28 PM | hey crissd, i know of someone that has that special someone 2 hours away. an yeah i agree, talkin thru out week, talkin on puter an cherishin the weekends is upmost important. heck we met at fish party an "click ", it happened, fer the both of us. as much so as i can say, on my behalf anyway that my search is over. so anyone that says that it cant happen unexpectedly is so wrong!! she won me over big time an she knows she owns my heart!! | |

| Anyone interested in events in Lafayette, IN??? Posted: 2/25/2009 4:45:41 PM | Those of you living in Lafayette will have a better idea of where to have a party ......but what about Knickerbockers? A friend's band used to play there.
If you post a party, they will come.

| Anyone interested in events in Lafayette, IN??? Posted: 3/10/2009 4:02:29 PM | | HI! I've only been to one POF event and would definitely like to go again. And I live very close to Lafayette. The Knickerbocker has a very small dance floor and the bar is separated from the band/dance area. Maybe Nicks on the West Side? They have been doing some renovations and I don't know if they are ready for business yet. But I could find out! I even know a great classic rock band that performs in our area. Can I help too? | |

| Anyone interested in events in Lafayette, IN??? Posted: 3/12/2009 10:45:18 AM | | LongTallSally441... would love to have your help. I've been trying to come up with ideas before meeting with the others that want to help, so any ideas about "where" would be greatly appreciated. Once we have a few ideas together, we can call the places where we would consider holding the event and get confirmation as to whether they would be agreeable, then meet and mull things over. Any other thoughts?? | |

| Anyone interested in events in Lafayette, IN??? Posted: 3/12/2009 5:52:44 PM | | Well it sounds like a good idea to have something in the Lafayette area... I know it isn't real close to hotels.. but the biggest dance floor in town..( I believe) is at the Neon Cactus... ... and there it the piano bar for something different... | |
|
| Anyone interested in events in Lafayette, IN??? Posted: 3/13/2009 11:40:56 AM | | The Neon Cactus doesn't sound like a bad idea and they have a hotel downtown, walking distance across the bridge, especially in the spring. Any other thoughts on this location? How about the lounge at the hotel with the Hour Time Restaurant? | |
