Posted: 3/5/2009 11:36:48 PM | this will be my first pof get together as i just joined on feb 28 this year and i was just wondering if i was to go if there will be drinks and sadly i need to know if they are free as i have no money to buy anything to drink..also my mom is a member of pof and we both just love dancing but we dont drive so we would have no way to get there is there anyone that would be willing to pick us up please let me know | |

Just come with a positive attitude, grab a lemon water and have fun! Buses run until midnight in front of the Tudor on Esquimalt Rd. so you have plenty of time to catch a couple sets. Most people would be reluctant to give rides to stranger, and vice versa. I catch the bus everywhere in this city, they're great! | |

The buses run in both directions....
How do you and your mom get anywhere else you have to go?
For your own safety, it is best to rely upon your own resources if you don't know anyone else going. After you make some friends on POF by attending several events on your own or bringing your own friends with you, THEN you might feel you can trust someone to share a ride with them.
I have not encountered a problem at any time on POF. I have met only nice people and am enjoying myself greatly. But...I employ basic caution. PLEASE do the same.
