Posted: 2/28/2009 3:50:25 AM | | I'm relatively young but this question keeps coming to my mind... where do i find my "tru love", and does such a thing actually exist? Today one thought came to my mind... After analyzing my past relationships, Ive noticed that by the end of every relationship i was different from the person i was before i went into it...every girl i've ever had has changed me to some degree... some of them some changed me in a good way and others in a bad... but at the end i was different... but now looking back at how i used to b i question what we call experience... some people say that having more experience makes u better... i disagree... because after all those painful memories; cheaters, liars, and everything in between, your heart is so tainted that it barely has a fragment of the purity it once had..so my theory is that the untainted heart is the key to finding true love because the willpower to keep trusting and enduring is still there... To those people who choose to go from one partner to another without any pauses to "find" yourself again, you're going to end up in a really bad position...so, after every relationship take a little time off to get a hold of yourself... ladies keep your legs closed, and gents keep your snake in your pants and next time you're about to go wit someone think to yourself "Is this person worth the risk?".. i will stop rambling on now... i just needed to vent for a while.. i hope someone would read this an send some feedback negatives and positives are welcomed... i'd like to hear other people's view points on this topic... sorry to be so abrupt but my eyes are closing on me...lol.. | |

Posted: 2/28/2009 4:46:11 AM | | I mostly agree OP, but you do not need a pure heart to find true love. You just need to know what you want, and they need to want you too. True love is not about self gratification its about gratification in making someone else happy. | |

It is hard to not let those things affect you in a bad way, it is hard when you meet someone new to not wonder "are they going to be a liar and a cheat too?" I don't think we need a pure heart to find true love, I just think it takes two honest people who genuinely like each other to find it...and thats the hard part, finding honest people! | |
