| St Charles/Lincoln/Warren Counties - Small local gatherings
Posted: 2/28/2009 3:51:40 PM | This thread will be for the small gatherings we have around the St Charles County area. Since the parties have really begun to pick up in this area, we are realizing that many of us live fairly close to each other, so we are creating a new thread for those that want to gather locally. This also includes Lincoln and Warren county, and of course, those that live elsewhere but wish to join us.
If you have a gathering taking place around the area and want to invite the fishies, feel free to post it here so others can join you.
 
Tonight we are going to be meeting up at Crazy Horse in Wentzville. The band playing is Meet the Cleavers. This is the same band that played last week at Play-offs so they are a great band for those that enjoy dancing.
Crazy Horse is located at 405 N Business Highway 61, Wentzville, MO 63385

Posted: 3/1/2009 8:55:14 AM | Yeah, it was a fun night. Will definatly have to go back this spring when the bikes are out and about. I guess being a band you have to sometimes deal with the emergency of losing your voices, but the replacement band that had was good, and younger. Lots of dance tunes (including some slow ones). Prices were elevated slightly, but that was mainly because they don't charge a cover so they have to pay cost somehow, but even that, my Smirnoff Ice was only 50 cents more then what I normally pay, after paying a $5 cover charge to get into most bars, so since I don't drink but one or two, they didn't make any money off of me. But I like Crazy Horse, lots of guys of all ages and types in there (even smelly ones that like to dance  ). | |

Posted: 3/1/2009 2:13:07 PM | hello st.t,good to hear about parties like that out our way.last night in warrenton at market steet bar and grill we had one of our local bands,mind spin,very good,very crowded,lotsa dancing.they are on myspace,type in their name .another favorite local band will be there in 2 weeks(whitney screams)also very popular,they are also on myspace.plenty good places to stay in case someone has too much fun.the bar,dennys restaurant and hotel all within walking distance in warrenton.take care and have fun .   | |

I wish I was free enough last night to have you point out the smelly guy. My guy smelled good.
I still wish we had a good picture of when Karen, Brenda and I went to Kirkwood the other night of the guy in the fur coat and the guy with the pink shirt, bad tan and huge cuffs.... including hot pink hankie hanging out from coat chest pocket!!! now HE was a riot!!

I'll be spreading my wings and getting out of the box with other non-close happenings on other weekend nights, I'll just have to see how the $$ works out the next few weeks.

Posted: 3/4/2009 8:41:58 PM | yeah, I would like to meet up for a dinner.............Skip, when is my pizza going to be delivered. Hell has froze over and then melted in the timeframe it takes for you to deliver a pizza all the way out here to BFE. 
I heard that there is a Tequila's on Hwy 94 or thereabouts, we ought to do a dinner there some night for those that wish to join us. They have $10 pitchers of Margaritas  Of course, that means I have to drive home afterwards. Thank goodness that song, tequilla makes her clothes fall off doesn't work for me.  | |

I am glad to see I am not the only one feeling this way... I stopped by last weekend but with my back issue... and strict order or NO DANCING... not fun for me. So for a while, I will be sitting out... and if I get lucky might have a few one on one parties... OMG wake me up.. I am dreaming once again. SS
