| Am I old fashion or are guys better looking in jeans and a tee? Posted: 3/24/2009 9:33:36 AM | I was going to ask this in the Ask a girl thread but I think it has to do with older peeps
In all the profiles and even commercials the standards are a majority of nakedness...I think it could be my age but I have always felt this way... I find a man in a tee and jeans more sexy than buffed out in nothing but shorts and speedos just gross me out. I get to use my imagination which is the greatest fantacy
Yep Wrangler butts drives me nutts.... whats your input?

I can say with absolute certainty (in my case) that a woman who is in jeans (and a tee or sweatshirt) is just about 2nd on my list of sexy.. the #1, of course, is when all she has on is one of my button down dress shirts... but that's a whole other thread.

Posted: 3/24/2009 10:40:23 AM | | depends on the tee and the cut of the jeans....if the tee has big dumbass pictures and sayings on them, accckkkk...no thanks. if the jeans are real tight from top to bottom (a la billy ray cyrus), accccckkkk (the sequel)....i do like things left to the imagination but if i can tell the size of the package by the cut of the jeans i'm not even mildly curious...lol

| Am I old fashion or are guys better looking in jeans and a tee? Posted: 3/24/2009 12:12:19 PM | It appears I really am the old fashioned one on POF. Men of the appropriate age for me to date don't look terrific in jeans. They look okay, but not their absolute sexiest, most wonderful, best. There are exceptions, but men, like women, change shape as they age, and often, the derierre starts to droop, as the tummy starts to protrude, and the skin on the chest succumbs to gravity that results in a sunken chest or one with man boobs.
Give me a guy in a pair of slacks and a button down shirt or golf type sport shirt any day of the week.

Posted: 3/24/2009 12:38:56 PM | I'm with you cheriss, and find a man in a well-fitted pair of jeans and a tee shirt much more attractive than a man in a speedo or bikini bathing suit. And, for me, a man in a tuxedo is not all that appealing as the look reminds me of a Ken doll. Give me a tailored suit any day....
To the poster who said she doesn't like to see a man in pants so tight that she can see the size of his package, I can't agree with you more!!! Ugh!!!!
Please guys, if you are not playing ball, don't wear your baseball cap backwards. Another look that just makes a guy look immature.

What if I wear the speedos on my head-sort of a do-rag to shield the bald spot. Adds a bit of mystery, No? Umm, no, asheel_heel. Don't do it. Well...maybe you could, but only if the speedos are red. I'm with the girls who say it depends on the guy, the jeans and the t-shirt. Actually, most men really need a woman to take them shopping for the jeans purchase. As for the t-shirt..welll..consider the neckline (it's important, believe it or not) and consider the message on it - it's preferable there is no message, unless it says "I'm with the hottie". No?

Jeans and t-shirts. Very, very few men can pull off the Speedo look. Or should even try.
I do like button-down shirts, too. And I share the other poster's horror of the ubiquitous baseball cap.
Edit: VVVVVV Dockers are quasi-casual structured khaki pants. Sort of "business casual."

.......... and.. if you just adjust that speedo over the face.. it could be next years Halloween mask!
I'll pass on the speedo portion.. thanks. String bikinis are out for me too.. btw. I'd never wanna scare that many paople.
OP.. I don't consider jeans and a tee old fashioned.
I think a man always looks his absolute sexy best.. when he is "appropriately" dressed for whatever the occassion may be. If an occasion requires a suit and tie.. then he'll look sexy in a rather simple suit and tie. If the occassion requires shorts and a tee.. he'll look just as sexy in those simple shorts and a tee.
I think men that do the whole over-kill.. by wearing clothing that's too complicated and over-the-top for any occasion.. makes them look as though they're trying way too hard to please. I'm just not into suck-ups.JMO

Posted: 3/24/2009 2:27:24 PM | It is funny but my favorite thing to wear is jeans, but so many men want to wear dress slacks to meet you...I would prefer them in jeans but they say it is a sign of respect when they dress up...unfortunately they resemble my father when they show up with the dress pants and a button up shirt ...normally some sort of plaid or stripe....
Please just wear the well fitting jeans and a nice tee...we will get along great!

And boots! yes! But not the extreamly pointy ones. I don't understand pointy toed dress boots. I mean aren't the points there to be able to get into a stirrup easily? So they belong on a riding/work boot not out on the dance floor lol.

Women seem to love the look and I feel totally comfortable in them anyway. On warm days I wear shorts in lieu of the jeans which give me even better results with women.
