| Ottawa Meet/ Greet & Dance at Tailgators, 80's and Requests Friday April 17th,2009 Posted: 3/30/2009 11:06:44 AM | What repeat performance would that be Kim? Dave is a great host and dancer. It was a nice place with a huge dance floor. Tried to get some of the shy bystanders up and dancing - worked with some, not so well with others.
Dave's organized the place and the music - the fun is up to you. It's a nice group of people open to meeting new friends - just bring a smile and your dancing shoes. We have a dancing group for those too shy to dance one to one at the start.

| Ottawa Meet/ Greet & Dance at Tailgators, 80's and Requests Friday April 17th,2009 Posted: 4/13/2009 3:02:56 PM | | It was the one fron this pass Saturday April 11 at the roster or something like that on Bank street. I had a ball but for men itj is not what I was looking for. When you go to a single meet from what I remeber men are suppose to ask you to dance or at least try talking with you, well that did not even happen, we were told to be there for 8:30 for the meet & greet but I never met anybody. But anyways I'm pretty sure I won't be going back to another of POF meets. And sorry if you are block but I set it that way cause your not in my rank of men I guess.but you can always e-mail me ggaudet2@rogers.com | |

| Ottawa Meet/ Greet & Dance at Tailgators, 80's and Requests Friday April 17th,2009 Posted: 4/14/2009 8:32:15 AM | If you were with a group of your friends, I can see why a man would not approach to ask you to dance; not only would he face a possible rejection by the gal he asked to dance, but he would face having the rejection witnessed by other people. My suggestion is move around the room by yourself, giving a man a chance to approach, or simply ask someone you like to dance yourself rather than waiting on the men to do it.
If you come to this event, and introduced yourself to Dave, he would introduce around to the people he knows to give you a start, but like you , he doesn't know everyone. You have to introduce yourself around as well. I often go around the room introducing myself to people that I don't know, how else am I going to get to know them?
The host books the venue and the music - it's up to you to provide the fun. We are all adults and therefore responsible for entertaining ourselves.
