Is it possible to get something removed from my hidden stats??? Apparently at some point I wasn't paying attention and messaged another user who was looking for intimate encounters or sex... Because now, anyone who has "Must not have messaged users looking for intimate encounters or sex." in their criteria for messaging, I can't message... If I did message someone who was looking for Intimate Encounters or Sex, it wasn't intentional... It's also possible that I did it to someone from the Forums, because I had something to say to that person, but felt it was better done in private and not on the boards... If this could be undone, I give you my word I'll pay closer attention in the future to what people are looking for...

first of all, you dont get redflagged by this filter for just one or tweo emails it only flags accounts that have an established history of intiating contact with intimate encounter profiles that being said, no, you can not have that reversed think about it, if pof reversed it - it would make the filter uterless useless and give those that opt to use it a false sense of security the best thing you can do is face the fact some users opt not to want to speak to you and focus your attentions on users that select NOT to use that filter

it only flags accounts that have an established history of intiating contact with intimate encounter profiles That can't be, because I'm not looking for this and I've never looked for it on this site... Any messages sent to anyone with Intimate Encounters or just Sex in their Relationship Goals were not meant to hook up with that person, they must have been messages that I sent to people from the Forums... I haven't looked for a Booty Call since I was 19... It's just not my style... But very well... I always thought that the "Block User" option was for this type of thing... You don't like what the person has sent you, you Block them, no more messages... Seems pretty simple to me... This extra filter seems like it does more harm than good according to that other thread...

This extra filter seems like it does more harm than good according to that other thread No the only people it harms are the ones that were contacting people looking for intimate encounters and are now blocked from contacting normal people. You see normal members looking for serious relationships dont want contacted by those looking for just sex. We love that IE filter and its not harming us I guarantee you. Cowboy

But very well... I always thought that the "Block User" option was for this type of thing The block feature allows people to block you AFTER you've contacted them. This is radically different. This filter allows us to pre-block people that have contacted intimate encounter profiles from contacting us. Why - you wonder? Well cause I prefer to focus on people that are as serious as I am. Afterall, how would I know what type of pattern anyone has. Your response is a perfect example - as you don't even acknowledge it. Bottom line this filter automatically screens users with a pattern of initiating contact with intimate encounter profiles. This extra filter seems like it does more harm than good according to that other thread... I respectfully disagree. Since enabling it I don't get flooded with the "wanna screw" emails I was getting before. As it is, I get a lot of emails and the last thing I want to do is wade through a pile a crap to find the good one. Not a problem since I enabled this feature. Now sure you have the occasional guy that claims he didnt do it and it must be either a) a drunken friend, b) the dog dancing on the keyboard, c) aliens - but even if that were accurate, I still wouldn't want to speak to them for the mere fact they didnt secure their account.
